It should be the goal of every community to do that and make themselves a go to destination during the Christmas Season. Where is your fun stuff located?
Well, the neighborhood is working on luminaries for a sort of Christmas Treating. We usually drive around to look at lights. Family looks weird now, so we get Christmas Eve and breakfast Christmas morning every third year. This year, it’s Elf,It’s a Wonderful Life, Santa Clause is coming to town, etc. One thing I’ve never missed in 40 ish years is The Oak Ridge Boys Christmas. I play it twice a season, at least, including the religious songs. Bliss.
Ours starts with the garden of lights November 18-jan 8, then the decoration of downtown and the lighting of the Christmas Tree and then the Christmas Parade dec 3, the Ornament Express this year and the online maps to all the exquisitely decorated neighborhoods and outstanding single decorated homes in the area.
