Im sort of mixed on this debate. If God gave us free will, it seems arrogant to think you can choose for a person how to live their lives. Plus I find it hypocritical to want small government when it comes to corporate interests, but big government over someones personal life. While I firmly believe that the church should not be made to perform ceremony over these unions, I dont see what the big deal is about a same sex couple going down to the courthouse to get a document for legal reasons.

Target....I will fight to keep these people from getting any rights, marrying in my church, being protected from harassment, etc.

Please name one thing that the minuscule amount of money that the Cathy corporation donated to the two traditional marriage organizations has affected you? What did they do that directly affects you, other than you disagree with their speech?

Homos have the same rights. You want more rights. and WHY do you want to get married in a CHURCH?? You don't go to church now!! most of you don't. I don't know how we're going to come to some kind of agreement here. I don't think it will break me, I need to return a library book anyway and don't think I have ever had a cup of their coffee. But then on second thought a new little locally owned Mom and Pop coffee/pastry shop opened recently nearby and I would probably feel better about overpaying there LOL. Inflation killed the one at the end of my street, so a few dollars spent at a locally owned place might be a good idea

 

Isn't it their money? Why should anyone care where it goes? They are supporting an opinion and agenda, no different than the homosexuals, but you don't see straights going after big queer donors do you? You don't see us trying to boycott their businesses. If that's what you want, I'm sure we can accommodate, but could the homosexual community afford that? For the last 30 years there has been an unending assault on us to accept you, its really getting annoying, and a backlash is coming. The homosexuals DEMAND acceptance, will bully, threaten, coerce, boycott, and whine to get it, but you rarely see anyone sensibly discussing your position, instead its a constant in your face barrage. Your movement simply can't be taken seriously if you won't police your own and moderate your tone. I speak only for myself here, but I will never accept that, and I'm sure there's a few others that would agree...

really? Got any links to these boycotts? Not calling you a liar or anything just wondering which ones you are referring to? If you know of any big city any mayors that said they don't want pro gay marriage business in their towns post a link to those also

 

Not in large numbers and even those are pretty extreme, there is no organization to it. People are actually getting tired of the militant message, a backlash is coming. That backlash won't be extremists, it will just be regular folks who are sick of it. Don't take my word for, just watch and learn...

 

I'm at work and on my phone. But if you Google "One Million Moms" and "NOM boycott Starbucks" and "boycott JC Penneys" you'll see some of what I'm referring to.
