Even worse this last policy idea from Trump will encourage an even larger group of Republican officials to join the ranks of those opposed to his candidacy

"Donald Trump said Sunday that although he hates the idea of racial profiling, it might just be time to start implementing it anyway.

“I think profiling is something that we’re going to have to start thinking about as a country,” Trump said in an interview on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “And other countries do it; you look at Israel and you look at others and they do it, and they do it successfully.”

“You know, I hate the concept of profiling,” he added. “But we have to start using common sense and we have to use, you know, we have to use our heads. We really have to look at profiling. We have to look at it seriously. And other countries do it, and it’s not the worst thing to do. I hate the concept of profiling, but we have to use common sense. We’re not using common sense.”

 

Not at all. Look, the methods are deplorable(Trump himself said they're deplorable). But we're at WAR. And war time, is not peacetime. In war time, a country must take every and all measures to survive, and profiling is one of those. And if we do it, it gives Muslims a clear message: You don't want to be profiled? You don't want stigma in the Muslim communities? Stand up against Islamist extremism.

I support Donald here, and I think its time the US took this step. Your weak beloved Democratic Party however, will not take the measures needed to protect America.

 

We've been using racial profiling every day for the past 396 years in North America. So why the outrage when Trump talks about as a tactic to use against people we are at war with?

 

Comical. Have Native American's mass attacked people in the U.S.? No. Have Italians mass attacked American's in the U.S.? No. How about African Americans? No?

 

Apparently, we're led to believe the US military and our civilian police force have two different standards -_-.

 

Yeah because racial profiling is way worse than 49 people being executed by ISIS on American soil for being gay.

Racial profiling is just an other word where the predominantly present ethnic group gets to bully minorities. It's well know that white people are the biggest drug addicts percentage wise, yet black people are predominantly arrested over it back in the days of racial profiling.

You got your Charley Sheen laughing in peoples faces how much drugs he used.
He got arrested over it a bunch of times. If he was poor and black he would have been in jail for decades.

Maybe its more of a case of rich vs poor? Rather than black vs white?

 

The black are the ethnicity that are predominantly poor. That is because the white oppressed them till 20 years after WWII, legally, with their apartheid rule. And it's just a fact that white people are the biggest users % wise, while the black people do the time. It's the black people who get less service in hospitals,.. etc etc etc. It's all part of white heritage in the US.

My comments about who uses the most drugs, and who gets arrested over it, is totally sound. As well as the service in hospitals. To bring in exceptions doesn't erase the facts for what goes on for the most.

What about them white folks who go postal and shoot people? Them white folks also are the biggest drug users. And what about people like Madoff, a Jew... thieving billions? So far this ethnic profiling is only applied to predominantly poor minorities.

 

Black people do the time because they've got extensive arrest records. You lose your leniency after the 19th time you've been arrested.

And blacks are caught more because they live in high crime areas, where police patrols are heavier. More cops = more arrests.

You know police profile every day. Do you pay more attention to the (*)(*)(*)(*) car, or the nice car? The (*)(*)(*)(*) one, because it's more likely to have registration issues, people that live less than moral lives.

Not saying everyone, but generaly.

yeah well. Guess where that lead to. A heck of a lot of cops breached the law and violated peoples rights because of that. Are all cops bad? Of course not. But that doesn't matter. In the profile we have to consider them all bad now.

When the racial profile is that black people use more drugs and so they should be checked out more, hence they get arrested more. Than it fails obviously, because it is a FACT that white people use more drugs. The cops focused the wrong ethnicity for decades.
