I don't know what to get my GF. I'm on a tight budget. Her rent was 1500 and I had to help her with 200. I'm looking for something useful. I was thinking of getting her the Snuggie. Question, has anyone ever got it here? does it work? usually, she has a Delta blanket on the couch that she uses, but that's kinda old and it doesn't cover your whole body. will she kill me if I get her a Snuggie? it's cold now. Perfect gift?

NO.. no Snuggie. If you shop around, you can find a nice blanket for sofa snuggling.. or used for overnight guests or just additional bedding on a very cold night.

I gave her a very nice comfortable night fleece robe and she never uses it. And then she's always complaining about the cold, but continues to use the blanket we got from Delta Airlines.

I gave a dear friend a cashmere blanket with the tale number of his plane embroidered on it. He loved it.

Now Cashmere is a bit pricy, but you do something like that on a good quality blanket.. Would she like monogramed blanket?

A wonderful idea for a budget date night suprise would be a bucket of chicken and a DVD movie.

How about "footed pajamas for women"---not too romantic but practical! But then again, a 'warm, contented woman' is more romantic than a 'cold, icy one!' ha ha

I think Snuggies are considered kind of a "kitch" gift - but if you think she likes it then go ahead

well, I didn't give her the Snuggie, I asked around and people said it was a really lame gift. I got her the following. A new All in one printer, A fossil watch, a large teddy bear, and an Adidas Jacket. What do you all think?
