In the first place, "collateral damage" is a mealy-mouthed euphemism for killing children. Even you think this is somehow worthwhile, at least have the courage to call it what it is: killing children.

In the second place, even if there is any conceivable situation whatsoever in which killing children would be justified (and I'm not too sure there is), demonstrating that such an unusual and extreme situation actually exists requires an extraordinarily high standard of proof, higher than convicting a criminal to life in prison I would say. And certainly higher than a collectivist us-against-them tirade about "the swine/filth/buttholes/barfbags" that looks like it could have been plucked from some vulgar blog.
