    What a travesty.

Wind and solar power generators wait in yearslong lines to put clean electricity on the grid, then face huge interconnection fees they can’t afford

Wind and solar power generators wait in yearslong bureaucratic lines to connect to the power grid, only to be faced with fees they can’t afford, forcing them to scramble for more money or pull out of projects completely.

This application process, called the interconnection queue, is delaying the distribution of clean power and hampering the U.S. in reaching its climate goals.

The interconnection queue backlog is a symptom of a larger climate problem for the United States: There are not enough transmission lines to support the transition from a fossil fuel-based electric system to a decarbonized energy grid.

    Especially considering.....

World is on brink of catastrophic warming, U.N. climate change report says

The world is likely to pass a dangerous temperature threshold within the next 10 years, pushing the planet past the point of catastrophic warming — unless nations drastically transform their economies and immediately transition away from fossil fuels, according to one of the most definitive reports ever published about climate change.

The report released Monday by the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) found that the world is likely to surpass its most ambitious climate target — limiting warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit) above preindustrial temperatures — by the early 2030s.

Of course. It isn't about climate. It is about power and control. They use it to force you into an EV, give up your gas stove and even buy a bidet to stop using toilet paper. It won't go away.

True. It is beyond dispute it is occurring and the cause is burning fossil fuels.

Three degrees currently, four degrees yesterday! Spent the last four days shoveling thirty-six inches of hard packed snow. Elk, deer and other game dying in record numbers starving unable to get down to vegetation.

And the real pisser, this is the weather/winter/snow that I grew up with when I first moved to Wyoming :) Now to put it into real perspective, the general first snow in these regions happen around the first of September, you do the math ;)

Want to talk about Northern California and the High Seirra's now!

Global warming my frozen ass ;)

With millions of people disputing it, I would say this is wishful thinking, not fact.

Seas have drastically risen along southern U.S. coast in past decade

Scientists have documented an abnormal and dramatic surge in sea levels along the U.S. gulf and southeastern coastlines since about 2010, raising new questions about whether New Orleans, Miami, Houston and other coastal communities might be even more at risk from rising seas than once predicted.

The acceleration, while relatively short-lived so far, could have far-reaching consequences in an area of the United States that has seen massive development as the wetlands, mangroves and shorelines that once protected it are shrinking. An already vulnerable landscape that is home to millions of people is growing more vulnerable, more quickly, potentially putting a large swath of America at greater risk from severe storms and flooding.

The increase has already had major effects, researchers found. One study suggests that recent devastating hurricanes, including Michael in 2018 and Ian last year, were made considerably worse by a faster-rising ocean. Federal tide gauge data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration suggest that the sea level, as measured by tide gauge at Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans, is eight inches higher than it was in 2006, just after Hurricane Katrina.

Low lying costal areas around the world are in jeopardy.

Many of those places need to start dealing with their subsidence problems.

The Warmists are a strange bunch. They want electric cars to solve pollution because electricity just comes of a hole in the wall and there are no emissions that they can notice at first look.

Electricity, I think they think it's magic.

Not globally. Global temperature peaked in 2016 and has been cooling since then.

Except for the fact that 40yrs ago it started snowing at the end of OCT and didn't stop until late March early April, whereas we get a week and a half of actual snow now.
