    chuckle, 10 ft thick ice is one hell of a blizzard. But then I bet you think a guy who claims to be a scientist and has a business that profits from global warming alarmism is a real scientist

    There were fee paying passengers on this boat - the science, which was not strictly about global warming, was a side line

    Please quote someone on this forum saying that.

    Then please explain how a "Blizzard" or "Blizzards" ( which is weather btw not climate ;) ) would impact a climate scientists getting stuck in ice while trying to tell people the ice is shrinking.

    Or just keep repeating "denalists" like a parrot looking for a cracker.

    Irony perhaps but it has shown the depth of ignorance of many who do not understand that the WEATHER (as opposed to climate) at the South pole is highly variable and hard to predict short term

    Yes it does. The problem comes from propaganda artists stopping at some arbitrary point in that ongoing process and calling something "TRUTH! THE DEBATE IS OVER!" to fulfill a decidedly non-scientific agenda.
