The Muslims obviously, to anyone paying attention, are not worshiping the Christian God.

But it seems to be very important to you, to think they are the same entity. So I will let you live---where you want to be comfortable.

Laws or standards against things like theft, rape, and murder are based on conscience which is essentially universal. That some people don't abide by conscience, doesn't take anything away from it or from the truth. Right and wrong aren't rendered questionable by those who refuse to uphold it. In fact, in so doing they render themselves criminals or enemies to society and civilization. Criminal mindedness is subjective. But the truth is forever or constant. Still there is no proof in the veracity of truth, but in the knowing of it. Fortunately for us, our nation was formed by men of conscience, as opposed to say pirates and scoundrels whose morals blow around like the wind. Yes we can crumble. But whether we fail or succeed is up to us, as right and wrong are a matter of our choice and what we love more.

    No you can't.
Your opinion is subjective. And relative.

    Define rape?
Even that definition has changed in the last 30 yrs in USA.

A husband can now be charge of rape of a wife. That never used to happen.
Rape is a subjective term. Laws have changed to reflect the change in views regarding rape.

    So, they are not universal.
Murder has several degrees attached to it. So it's subject to the situation in which it occurs.

But man made laws are not universal. And not all laws man made correlate to the god of the bible. Where rape and slavery were common place in the OT.

What is the christian god? Judaim also doesn't worship the christian god.

It seems very important to you to not think they are the same entity. So I will let you live where you want to be comfortable.

Still changes nothing about all 3 of those religions believing in the god of abraham. IE, el, elohim, allah, god.

Trying this again without the quote code error.

It was during the national crisis of the Babylonian Exile that the followers of Yahweh went a step further and denied that any deities aside from Yahweh even existed—marking the transition from monolatrism to monotheism, and, by extension, from Yahwism to Judaism

It would have been easy for you to acknowledge the truth of what I said. Instead you feign to not know what rape is, or the difference between right and wrong. The only thing subjective here are your excuses. That's what distinguishes criminal mindedness from adherence to values born of conscience. The truth isn't invented anymore than the sun around which the world turns.

I find this line rather ironic given that you are claiming "truths" and "morals" from a religion that literally prosecuted Galieo for saying the world moves around the sun.

The short answer is, yes. He did. But, and this is the important part, he also created redemption and forgiveness.

Not really. Muslims/Arabs fault the Abrahamic God for choosing Isaac(Jews) rather than Ishmael(Arabs). So they effectively exalt a new God with Ishmael as Abrahams chosen Son. This is at the root of their hatred towards the Jews who come from Isaac. Arabs think that Isaac stole their birthright from his elder Brother Ishmael as the chosen of God. It is jealousy. So no, they don't worship the same God. As for me, I'm just glad that God gave me the blessing of Life. I have no jealousy towards anyone. In fact, I am glad for those more greatly favored.

Never claimed otherwise. I would say that they were all necessary components of free will.

My post wasn't about religion. But now that you bring it up, Galileo wasn't persecuted by religion or God. Rather by men who assumed that position and appointed themselves as representatives of God. My post dealt with a poster who claimed that morals and truths are subjective and tyrannical in their nature. I said they come from the light of conscience which shows us right from wrong. So we lift those standards, and fashion society around them. They aren't subjective, but rather true. And those who refuse to honor those standards and who behave contrary to them are called criminals, such as those who steal, rape, and murder.

I wouldn't say that God created sin. I think he repeats that which is right and wrong, or the eternal laws by/in which God himself abides. In so doing, he imparts knowledge to bring about our happiness and peace.

What established right and wrong for Him to repeat such?

Then again, the concept you propose is something of an anesthetic to the spirit of accountability, repentance, forgiveness, regret, failures, fears, etc. by which we live our whole lives anyway. I think that because we strive for justice, perfection, peace and so on...that that motivating spirit gives credence to the biblical concept of continuation and judgment after we have passed away. Of course there's no proof of it beyond reasoning and the types found in nature such as the continuation of species, the metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly, and so on.

Sure. God created sin. Man created God. The source is the same, just with an extra middleman.

Right. Just like Mormons claim that Joseph Smith did not write the book of Mormon, God did.

Strangely, Christians seem to claim that Moses wrote Deuteronomy which describes his death and funeral.

When you talking about biblical texts when you say someone wrote it it doesn't mean they're physically with a pen and paper writing it it means they're saying what's going to happen.

Ascribe actually writes it often time before the 19th century people were illiterate.
