Google Glass, which has been in the works for about ten years, is closer than ever to being released (later this year) to the general public. They recently posted a really cool video showing what Google Glass can do. (Link to video: http://www.google.com/glass/start/how-it-feels/) Watch it! It's really impressive. Basically, Google Glass looks like a pair of glasses and can do what your smartphone does. You wear the glasses and can see the screen in front of you. They are voice controlled, so your hands are free. You can take videos, Google search, video chat, take photos, and use GPS with Google Glass, to name a few. I'm so excited for these to come out! I can definitely see them revolutionizing a couple of things, like film because they can record things in the first-person perspective.
Yeah it would be cool except its google. One of the most intrusive companies on the planet. I cant wait to get rid of my android that forces me to have a gmail account and then keeps turning all my privacy settings off without telling me. Like when they accidently hacked everyones wireless routers when google mapping. You all know how sometimes you just hack into someones router on accident. It happens all the time.
