What Rep. Boebert is reported here as saying is exactly right! The right of women to defend themselves and or their young children is very important. The 2A is not just about hunting. It’s not about big government dictating what is according to them acceptable for us to use to defend our home or to conceal carry with explanation to them as to why we want CC.

 

Also the most important part of the 2A is the insurance it gives us against a potential dystopian tyranny in our country’s future. It is always right based on that to question the motives and patriotism of those who would take away or severely limit the 2A

 

I agree with her — since Republicans are pushing for the ability of rapists to choose their baby’s mother or she will be charged with a much more serious crime than he will her only defense is to shoot any male that dares to threaten her.

The prisons are full of people that killed a predator the courts wouldn't convict or let out for no good reason. We are told to let the system deal with them but the system doesn't do a very good job at that.

And, I am not trying to be funny. The very first thought I had upon reading your post is "****, he just gave them something else to criminalize." I wonder what it will be. Maybe, women shouldn't be allowed to carry firearms because they may mistakenly shoot one of the 10 kids they've been forced to birth? Guns aren't made for feminine hands? A woman can't aim a weapon properly with groceries in both arms and kids on each elbow and pant leg? /smdh

Not to mention that ammo typically only has a shelf life of 10 years. A vast majority of the ammo in the armories people have been building for decades is probably mostly bad already.

There are new technologies coming out that will make traditional firearms pretty useless. The easiest one is probably long-range detection. Detecting a mass of steel of at a distance is pretty easy these days. Triangulate and the cops know where and when anyone has entered the city with a gun almost instantly.

Think about it. We can tell if a missile in space moving thousands of miles per hour is carrying plutonium or decoys.

Ammo from WW2 has been used and is just fine. If stored properly (basically just kept in your house) ammo lasts a very long time.

Once again, it is the end result of prohibiting exceptions to abortion restrictions for rape, which at least one state if not more has proposed. I know we spoke about the consequences that come from actions that may not have been done with that specific intention in mind, but it becomes the reality nonetheless.

If a rapist can rape and impregnate a woman and that woman does not have the option to legally terminate her pregnancy, in effect a rapist CAN choose their baby's mother. That may not be your intention, but it's the result.

 

Boobert is the other side to the AOC coin. Gun rights are everyone’s rights, she’s at least close. A gun is a great equalizer, most women are smaller and not as strong as a man.

Depends where/how it is stored. If exposed to atmospheric moisture, then sure it can go bad, prolly a lot faster than ten years.

But so will the firearm. Its said that guns have two enemies- politicians and corrosion.

If properly stored, ie sealed away from moisture, then both the ammo and the firearm will outlive their owner.
