    Lol, there's a part of me that wants this preposterous 'elephant in the room' to linger... Seemingly, Pelosi & House Dems' absurd, duplicitious & deleterious panderings would continue to fester for them the longer this is allowed to linger. At this point it's not like it's an encumbrance for Trump in the furtherance of his agenda; it's just a dud nothing burger sitting on a Dem shelf (imho).

    Dems said impeachment was URGENT. Now they don’t want to have a trial, because they have no evidence. In real world, if prosecution doesn’t proceed with case, it gets dismissed. So on Monday, I will introduce measure to dismiss this bogus impeachment for lack of prosecution. This will expose Dems’ circus for what it is: a fake impeachment, abuse of the Constitution, based on no evidence. If Dems won’t proceed with trial, bogus articles should be dismissed and @realDonaldTrump fully cleared.

    They just don’t want one where the jury is colluding with the defendant and saying the trial will be a complete sham.

    According to the DNC, their media and demo politicians, Trumps is a security threat, an existential threat to our country, the evidence is in plain sight, so with that extreme danger to our country lurking about in the Oval Office, wouldn't it be better to do something rather than nothing?

    The Senate, just like the rest of the country, saw what the democrats did with their impeachment hearings and the dems have nothing, they can't name a crime Trump committed and that's without Trump even offering up his own witnesses in his defense.

    It's going to come to a head soon; because Graham announced that he was going to advocate that the Senate simply ignore Pelosi's withholding of the official impeachment, and just go ahead and hold the trial and get it over with by the end of this month. I figure that Pelosi is going to milk this for another week or two and then go ahead and submit the URGENT document so as to save face. She's spent a fortune in botox treatments on her face, and so it's worth a lot to her to save it . . . :banana:

    Sending the articles so they can be dismissed without investigation is worse than doing nothing.

    trump* is purposefully blocking witnesses, redacting documents, and engaging in witness intimidation — why would an innocent man be acting this way.

    For more examples see his charities and university that were closed for fraud.

    Pelosi looks more and more incompetent by the day. Trump has her so triggered she had to go through with impeachment. She just has no clue how to legislate.

    If you were a prosecutor, how would you proceed, if the judge and jury all told you - prior to taking a case to trial - that they are working in lock step with the defense?

    (Scratching Head) Welllllllllll . . . unlike Pelosi and company first I would make sure to -- you know -- include impeachable offenses in my proposed impeachment document. Oh . . . and then I would find iron clad and irrefutable evidence BEFORE kicking off an impeachment. The way that she did it, though; to 'impeach' on issues that are neither High Crimes and nor Misdemeanors and do so without any evidence in hand seems . . . back rumpward.

    Somewhere or other I've head the musings of 'what ifs' - Pelosi handing down the articles at some seemingly inopportune time (State of the Union etc.). I suppose I could see that happening, although unlikely. In a way I am hoping for the Dems to pull some shenanigans like that as I suspect that Trump would flip the script on them in their stab at 'strategery'- spinning it into political gold, as only the Donald can do, lol...

    Actually I did. Nancy and all those leftist thugs politicians who used the INTENT of the Constitution for their political toilet paper screwed up the entire process by doing it both half assed and totally backwards -- as I just explained. Had she done it correctly then it would be so irrefutable in nature that the GOPers in control of the Senate would have worked with Pelosi to destroy Trump.

    Asking how Nancy can fix what she already screwed up is pointless because she has already . . . screwed . . . up.
