I would like to interject a comment here. I don't know if Egypt had slaves, but the pyramids were built by people who were not slaves (per se) but had to labor a few months a year for the government. Much like many of us have to labor a few months a year to pay our taxes.

I went back and looked (thinking I missed something) and not a single person you responded to mentioned anything "biblical". Someone mentioned "5000 years" and you asked for proof that Egypt ever had slaves. I do not know if 5000 years is correct or not, but Egypt had slaves 3,500 year ago, at the least.

"Nubia" was always a periphery of Egypt, that is to say nubia was influenced by Egypt. There were even a few kings who over the thousands of years of Ancient egypt came from Nubia.

However that has nothing to do with this group, as far a I can tell. Sub Saharan Africa is a different thing entirely, and if this guy is a black Israelite type its even more off the wall.

Thats very true and additionally slaves/peasants were not determined along racial lines or appearance. Egypt has its own interesting genetic makeup but it never was a race based society and can't be judged based on later colonial racial slavery/indentured servatude.
