Local schools have been implementing the use of armed guards for protection, as a result of the Sandy Hook incident. Last week, one of the guns on a guard at a school from my town accidentally went off and sent the school in a panic. Thankfully no one was hurt, but accidents can happen a lot and not have the same result. Why are we adding more guns? If guns are the problem, why are we addressing the issue with more? Guns should not be around children, period. What child wants to grow up hiding behind a gun? There must be another solution and the government needs to intervene with a more strict hand. I am not always a fan of federal government involvement in daily lives, but I think as a result of the increasing amount of shootings in present times I think it is necessary. Ordinary citizens should not be allowed to own guns. Until something is done by the government, we are only hurting ourselves.
I call BS. If this really happened, even in the most remote areas, it would have been gobbled up by the media. A gun NEVER goes off on accident. The trigger has to be pulled. Try learning something about guns before you try and lie about it. Nice try buddy!
