Happy 100th Birthday African National Congress

South Africa's ruling party and former Liberation group, the ANC, is turning 100 today, making it one of the oldest surviving Political groups in the world. I certianly to not like what has become of this party in the last 17 years, but can not but be thankful for what htey have achieved in 100 years. Sad to say that it seems the ANC is yet another party that can not make the leap from Liberation organisation to ruling party.

Here is my message to them:

A wonderful achievement for a party who struggled against the evil Apartheid system for human rights and values.

And a belated Merry Kwanzaa, the true African celebration to the free people of the democratic and tolerant Rainbow Paradise.

 

We do not celebrate Kwanzaa here in the Rainbow nation, it is an American invention.
