Harry Reid Threatens to Shut Down the Gov't Unless the House "accepts"

The House needs to grow up and vote on a bill that ONLY funds the govt.

We will not negotiate with terrorists.

 

Is what the GOP did in the house any different to Obama/The Senate threatening to shut the government if they don't pass gun control or immigration reform?

 

Using a government shutdown to extort massive changes in govt. that you cannot accomplish through normal voting, is legislative terrorism.

The GOP can't repeal ObamaCare. They tried 50 times. They lost the vote 50 times.

You guys need to grow up and deal with your loss.

Let us know when the Democrats shut down the govt. in order to get gun control or immigration reform passed.

From this point forward the House needs to get on with governing. Let each appropriations bill be passed out of the House and forwarded to the Senate. Disregard the democrats posturing and do not budge. As each Appropriation bill is passed then remove that from the CR. Pass good bills that reduce federal spending in most areas.

The House has yet to vote on a continuation budget that simply funds the govt.

Boehner won't let them. ObamaCare is not discretionary spending, which is why it went into affect yesterday.

A bill that simply funds the govt., won't hurt ObamaCare one dime.

 

Think of it as a lesson in liberty. We do not need nor do we want most of what happens to us as a result of the Federal government becoming an uncontrolled national government. The longer this goes on the more Americans will realize how good it is to have less government.

why not defund it in a seperate bill?

why attach it to funding for the entire govt?

why are they holding govt. funding hostage to funding for ObamaCare?

Because Harry Reid has a bad habit of never allowing such legislation to the floor for a vote, so he must be forced to.

 

Getting rid of MaO'bama care is the ultimate help to Americans. This law is a disaster on every level. Even hisloserness knows that, but he maintains the ruse. Principles are far more important than a partisan law that only leftist losers voted for. That is called tyranny.

 

There will have to be an organization formed that includes all fifty states with leadership and a whole host of other infrastructure necessities. I agree it needs to be done. But it needs to be done right.
