Lol...but you can't pick them from the same tree.

Either both are virtue signaling, or neither is. I don't care which you think it is, as long as the argument is a logical one.

I don't agree that wearing a MAGA hat is considered virtue signaling, at least not in comparison to what the OP posted, since those wearing a MAGA hat, by and large, are not only not considered virtuous in American culture, which has been hijacked by leftism; they are considered the opposite of it. They are considered at least racist, perhaps even sexist, homophobic, etc. It really depends on the race and gender of the person wearing it. Those putting up signs about hate not having a home here do not have to worry about being assaulted, physically or otherwise; they can be considered woke without actually having to make any sacrifice, except for the money that they spent to buy / make the sign, and the time to put it up.

One can't make another person hate them. The hate comes from inside.

Based on ones actions one could definite cause someone to hate them. If your best friend f**ks your wife are you saying you wouldn't hate either of them? A persons actions directly or indirectly towards another can cause a person to hate another.

Yes, I did. So when you talk about "white people" what are you taking about?

Yep, you were talking about actions that might make people hate you. So what kind of actions are you talking about?

My lord...you really aren't able to follow what I said based on what the OP said? I wasn't talking about white people. The OP was.

You clearly didn't read the OP. If you did then you didn't comprehend what you read.
This is what I replied to
Hence my reply....people don't hate you because you're old and white.

Yes, what you said was old and white. What do you mean when you say someone is "white"?

Bingo. Whether or not there are laws in place to prohibit racist practices, it still happens. To say that it doesn't is turning a blind eye. And when too many do that, the practices are allowed to continue. We can pick out this politician or that, Rep or Dem, who have worn black face or have made racist comments - but that is the thin wedge of the pie. We spend far too much time on individual situations and individuals and not enough time looking at how our country is actually operating.

Exactly. We don't need to fixate on the problem as much as we need to work on the solution. But there has to be a comprehensive understanding of the problem before we can even begin to discuss solutions.

Again....it was the OP who brought up being white. At this point I can only assume you're purposely being obtuse

I notice those I posted to about recognizing racism is ingrained into our society, even though legally it can't exist, never bothered to return to thread.

I'd like to think they are pondering the idea that it must be recognized as an issue before a solution can happen.

In this thread, I've heard people classify certain people as "white". What does that even mean?

I can't follow your logic, which isn't surprising and I wouldn't call anything you described in this post as "getting you to think."

You saw a sign that said hate has no place where you live. You then were compelled to google racial demographics of where you live. Why?

Then you conclude what from this graph? That all hate that you've experienced has been directed at you being an older, white male? Can you provide examples of this hate? Does any of it involve black police officers kneeling on your neck? Or pulling you over for driving a nice car? Asking for a friend...

Sorry but Dems are fighting hate...you folks (even on this very thread) seem to be excusing it.

Hell you even hate the Democratic Party and all it's supporters...clearly
