IMO, Ford was selected as the left's martyr for various reasons, including her apparent willingness to accept the big dollars in return for the rightful scorn she will receive for her actions. It's never been about testifying. This ball was teed up long ago. Claim an unfair environment, refuse to testify, and use lies about white males, misogyny, etc., leading into the mid-terms and beyond. I completely agree with you. I don't know how anyone can telegraph their moves more blatantly. The fact there are many who don't see it is astonishing to me. Why would they put this figurehead of their plan on the stand? At this point, what they have is just a mystery accusation. No proof, nothing. Put Ford on the stand, and everyday Americans get the chance to see what she is, and see how credible her story is. Why risk that? The objective has been met with the liberal base, without her having to utter a word. She is not going to testify, IMO. Never was, never will. This is about the depths the left will plunge to achieve an objective. I hope people remember that in 6 weeks or so.
