This video is incredible. Turn up the audio.....you're in a tornado.

The language is VERY BAD. But these are shocked people that very nearly died and saw everything they knew flatten.

When I was 15 and living in the midwest, one w/e day while home alone, a tornado hit us. When it was over, it looked like a war zone - houses picked up from the foundations, cars upside down, power lines laying all over.....

Those things are so freaky. All we got out of it was a messed up yard, but the neighbors across the street from us had a huge oak tree that was split in half, then it bounced over to the next block and picked up half a high school. After that it stayed on the ground and picked up everything.... several kids in one family were killed.....

One of the things I'll always remember b/f the tornado hit was looking outside and the sky was a light hazy gold and no sight or sound of animal or bird life.. at that age I didn't know that wildlife knew something ugly was brewing from mother nature and they all ran for cover b/f mankind could....

When I was working, some of my coworkers told me that "Twister" was a great show, so I saw it. Went back to work and asked them if they had ever been in a tornado - no, none had. Told them I tho't it was stupid.

"For one thing, there's Helen Hunt and her ex standing there arguing about who's fault it was that their marriage went belly up while the funnel is barreling down on them...." That's Hollywood for ya......

"Language is VERY BAD" Even if they were not near an EF5 tornado the language was not really that bad.

My area was under 'tornado watch' for a good portion of today... tis the season.

It's always been one of my greatest fears; to be caught in a tornado. I refuse to live in a house without a basement or storm shelter.

Democrats who insist on stripping millions of square miles of forests, trees and windbreakers in the Midwest and the South to grow more profitable corn crops for ethanol production are to blame for ever-increasing tornado outbreaks.

Tornadoes begin as funnel clouds. When funnel clouds reach to the ground and have no forests or trees to hamper their progress, they quickly turn into huge, violent, destructive tornadoes which spawn even more tornadoes.

Not only are food crops (corn), being used to produce useless ethanol, but it is depriving America's people and cattle of food, hence driving up food prices.

I didn't say that. But frankly.....its very possible to not hear those words on a constant basis. I can see a bunch of immature college or highschool kids flinging them out right and left. And I can see white trash using the F word on a fairly consistant basis. But its not nice and its not common except amongst some people.
