I don't see it happening. Flip-floppin Mitt "The Mormon" Romney still gets his marching orders from the Mormon elders and women aren't exactly at the top of the religious heap, so to speak. Still, Romney appointed a woman to seek out a suitable Vee Pee nomination which has led to speculations that a woman might be chosen. Of course, more reasonable speculation is that choosing a woman to head the search is likely to result in a man being chosen with a "Yeah, but we let a woman pick him" kind of meme.
