Hey everybody, came to the site because it doesn't have an age policy that I'm aware of, I'm 16 but deeply interested in politics and current events for 2 years now. I don't know why other sites have age restrictions, makes no sense, it's not like I have anyone my age to take about politics with... Anyways I digress, just want everyone to know that I'm a "socialist liberal" with conservative traits, and I'm a classic liberal by the way not some hippy.

Before I get attacked because of my "socialist" views let me clear this up, I'm a socialist in health care and economics (I love capitalism too don't get me wrong, I just think socialism is more stable, I don't know why people see socialist as "evil" all we want to do is help our people)

    Glad to be here :)

    Hi

Short explanation why 'socialism' is a major problem.
What is called 'socialism' (it's political terminology) didn't exist over a century ago, from this you immidiatly know that the term was made up for a reason, power.
In this time of history politicians are using many of the same type of terms in their politics (same type means, terms are fabricated in the same way - example: liberty, 'liberalist', 'liberalism', from words to political terminology), the numbers of terms grew over the last century. The trick is, they let you believe in those terms and people stick them in their minds (a free mind becomes labeled, this ends your open and free thinking, because you keep fighting for that label/political current) At the moment a person has labeled itself one have become part of a group of people who believe in the same political current. This is how these terms have caused the organisation of masses of people, herein is the danger.
These terms have organized society over the past century. Before 1900 there was not a single term in the minds of the people, and society wasn't organized in large groups.
And because of organisation they can bring the (labeled) voters into the polling stations and let cast their votes in mass (this is how they take the power from the people and when they have reached absolute power your freedom is gone) It's all done via ideology, you don't notice anything. Unconsiously a person cast their vote, don't see any danger.
Politics is all about getting control over society (they don't listen to what people want or have to say, they are only after the votes (power) of the masses (to reach absolute power)

Thanks! I love meeting other liberals it's like a "special" bond if that makes any sense haha

Oh I will, can't wait to learn and contribute this place looks like a gold mine of opinions :)

Thank you, trust me I will.

Thank you for the response, I know labeling yourself can be a real problem and now is with our current political system, I know I label myself by saying I'm a "socialist liberal" but trust me I'm open to any idea that's why I'm very conservative on some issues... the brain was meant to observe not shoot down every opinion they don't agree with or see as "odd". But I didn't know that pre-1900's people didn't label themselves, we should go back to that way of thinking but sigh, it's too late. Thanks again.

I hear ya, I'm on other forums and I'm always the youngest it does get lonely. Glad to see someone my age here!
