Hillary Clinton plans to ‘remain on the front lines of democracy’

Hillary Clinton isn’t about to retire to her mystery novels and chardonnay anytime soon. The former Democratic presidential candidate on Monday indicated that she’s not ready to exit left from the world stage, despite her 2016 loss to President Trump. Clinton told a group of students at Georgetown University that she thinks “advancing the rights, opportunities and full participation of women and girls is the great unfinished business of the 21st century.”

And Clinton, for one, is not looking to outsource the job. “I intend to keep fighting to pursue this agenda and remain on the front lines of democracy,” she said during an appearance at the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security, during which she presented human rights awards named in her honor to three female activists.

Clinton tried to rally the troops, warning them against complacency in what sure sounded like an oratorical subtweeting of the Trump presidency. “It is hard to continue to speak out and stand up against what you think of as obvious wrongs,” she told the students. “But do not grow weary. Don’t get discouraged.”

It's funny how the Post left out the part where in the same speech Clinton is still claiming she lost the election due to misogyny and sexism. Can't promote your gal when she sounds like a whining sore loser.

 

This is a victory for Republicans. Seriously, they would probably pay her to remain the corrupt face of Democrats. Democrats should look to push her away, except that they are too busy hating on Trump and not having any message or strategy of their own.

If she was ever on the front line of democracy it was a long time ago. She's in it for herself plain and simple. And to prove how incompetent of a candidate that she was, she lost to Trump. You have got to be a special kind of **** show to manage that.

But in the end though democrats don't need a message or plan for their party to run with. Just put forward someone who is honest and has integrity. God knows where you're going to find that person though.
