    The sad thing in North America a Busker equals a Beggar or Panhandler, if he was in Europe and wore some color in a costume he would be an Artist and likely making enough to have a place to live. Its a shame skills like that should equal enough income from tips to have some kind of life.

    Have you ever taken the time to actually have a conservation with a "homeless" person?

    I have and discovered that many of them CHOSE to be homeless. If one looks at the history of the USA, you will discover there was an entire class of people who refused to be tied down to cities and desired to live on their own. They were known as trappers and hunters and others who did their best to escape what they felt to be the onerous boundaries of "civilization."

    That is not to say that all are that way. There is a portion that simply prefer to live that way.
