I have seen a lot of right-wingers recently talk about the act that the Lefts ultimate goal is to brainwash everyone to conform to their ideology, and while I don't agree with that, I find it hard to refute some of their points. The Left wants us to accept people who are pretending to be a gender they are not, the Left wants us to accept people who are white but claim they are black. How long until we have to accept people who "identify" as animals? Honest Question.

The removal of statues, I'm not opposed to that as long as they are put in a Museum, but if every slave owner is a racist villain in history, why won't the argument the left makes removing or vandalizing statues of confederates be made to remove anything created by slave owners?

I cannot stress this enough, these are questions I am curious to have answered by someone on the left. If you call me a transphobe I don't care. I don't care what you do with your body or how you think of yourself, just don't expect me to play along with your fantasy.

Well, I'm an antileftist, but can clear this up fast. The "issues" they repeat endlessly are advertisements, not sincere moral stances or policy positions. It's really all about the $$. More pay and pensions for underworked government employees, grants, union leverage, legal settlements from poisoned juries, graft contracts, crony capitalist protection via competition squashing regs, etc., all the rotten fruit from the rotten tree of central government run rampant.

The left is an advertising campaign that is revenue driven like any other. Their ads work to grow the government, its power over the taxpayer, the junk-redistribution-consumption-celebrity-media economy. These ads work well on their stupid, selfish, criminal voting blocs, which is why they are endlessly repeated.

It's not really about men using women's bathrooms, or global warming, or racism... follow the $$.

I think that you should try to ignore the "far-left" and the "far-right". Neither group will be rational, think or say anything positive about the other side, or show any sign of compromise. Unfortunately, the rest of us tend to avoid such nasty behavior, and we don't think that we would be heard anyway.

Anyway, I guess I am a "moderate-left". I am not totally comfortable with transgender individuals, but if that makes their life better, then okay. No matter how hard I try, I can not get comfortable with the idea of a transgender student in my granddaughter's locker room and shower. So, I don't have the complete answer either.

I never though about the "confederacy" statues before. I live in the north and never saw one. Now, I think that it is inappropriate to honor someone who was willing to tear this county apart and kill thousands to keep an economy and life style based on slavery. If a "far-right" group wants to keep the statues, let them put the statues in a private park where they can honor their heroes without bothering the rest of the citizens.

So, you have one response from a moderate. I am sure that you will get plenty from the "far-left" and far-right".
