Hot Damn! Shepard Smith is gone from FOX News

He clashed with the opinion folks and was apparently told repeatedly not to criticize their Trump worship

 

Of late watching Trump and his rallies I find myself wondering how the more sane Germans must had feel watching the news films at the time of Hitler rallies.

The idea of myself an others that it could not happen here seems wrong.

Hell Heinlein wrote of with the help of the EC it could happen here in the late 1940s an even gave 2016 as the year.

I think it's scary to watch the authoritarians being mainstreamed.

 

It will be interesting to see where Smith turns up. That will connect the dots of why he decided to leave Fox. At 15 million a year he was happy as a clam but me believes some outfit has offered him a better gig and so he jumped. I can't blame him. But I was never a fan. I hated to watch him grin as he read his liberal tilted script and inserted spontaneous smart-mouth comments.
