House Republicans appear more interested in abortion and transgender issues than national defense!

There's plenty of ways the military can save money that don't require using my money to participate in legalized murder. I oppose banning abortion because I oppose legislating morality and body autonomy is important. But I also oppose financially supporting the legalized murder of unborn children, and financial autonomy is also important. Like I said- nonamybusiness unless you make it my business by compulsing me to fund it. The quickest way to sign me up for banning abortion nationwide and turning me into a theocrat is to use my tax dollars against my will to kill the babies of 'highly trained' people who don't even have enough emotional maturity to practice safe sex. If the only way we can beat China is to nationalize abortion and force people to participate in what they believe is murder, then China (who has been doing precisely that for decades) has already won. But, of course, it hasn't won, and this is really just another way for the collectivist progressives to try to insert legal precedence for more financial collectivism and compulsed participation in deviancy into law, and become more like China. I fully support resisting it.

 

The answer to your question lays in the question that I asked you ...the same question you seem to be trying to avoid answering.

The Taft act prevents the military from paying for an abortion except under certain medical extremes.
What is being faught is not the paying of abortions but the covering of the expenses of a pregnant soldier travelling to a state that allows her to get one. This saves the military huge amounts of money and helps with efficiency of not having to move a soldier to work in another state or even lose the soldier altogether.

 

Well if you think "the people" are paying for them then that would include "the people" getting the abortions and sex changes.

The women already pay for their abortions. The Taft act does not allow the federal government, including the military, to pay for non-medically required abortions.

But it is our govt: Of, By and For The People. It spends our money. Some of the money we spend is mine. Thus, I have a say in what we spend it on. And I dont participate in abortions and sex changes. Im content to not buy them. Force me to buy them, and I'll start voting to BAN them so I can stop buying them.

I served twenty years in the Air Force, twenty five years, if I include national guard and reserve time. Most of the time I was in command of a unit or a section supervisor. Periodically, we were required to lecture our people on various non-military issues such sexual harassment, racial prejudice or whatever was the latest issue of the day. Some of these made sense. However, all of them detracted from our mission and required us to interrupt the schedule and bring people in on their day off. Just about every person in the military is filling a function which must be completed or maybe even several functions because we were usually short handed. This will be especially true for transgender issues. If someone has a transgender issue, they need to get it resolved before entering the military. Someone entering the military with a pre-existing condition does more harm than good.

 

The Executive Branch and General Miley are more interested in providing gender alterations in our military than protecting our Nation and it's borders!

 

More BS. It would be a simple thing to just project the cost of abortions and sex changes and give all servicemembers a raise equivalent to that cost and let them decide whether they want to purchase sex changes and abortions for themselves, or not. I would support that. The only reason that approach hasn't been suggested instead is that it doesn't virtue signal hard enough or allocate special funding for those whom the progs view as their special friends. It doesn't create the desired incentive to get more of those who want free abortions and free sex changes to join the military.

 

If you actually think that people join the military to get free abortions and free sex changes there's no point in debating you.

I doubt it. My guess is that Democrats in the Senate will not vote for a defense bill with this language in it. So ...

Who is preventing the bill from being passed? And if Senate Democrats won't pass the bill, and a Democratic president will not sign the bill, it would seem to me that Democrats are more interested in abortion and transgender issues than national defense.

 

Considering the multitude of mental issues EVERY Trans individual suffers from, they are NOT fit to defend the country since they’re already unfit to properly care for their own well being. If you can’t properly identify what a male or female is, you have no place handling firearms, multimillion$ heavy machinery or in charge of stressful decisions, much less LIFE altering decisions for others.
