When do Ultra Liberals wake up to the fact that California, is rapidly being re-populated by undocumented and illegal immigrants most noticeably from Mexico -AND- that such undocumented and illegal immigration is actually costing California, in terms of its once rich quality of life in just about every dimension measurable?

I grew up here, though I was born in Brooklyn. I attended school here, though I eventually studied in Florida and Boston earning a Masters and a PhD. I initiated my professional career here, though I've worked as a professional in four countries on two continents (including once in Mexico City, by the way).

I've traveled to Mexico numerous times on business in the past. I've seen the Mexican life style and culture up close and personal. I know for a fact that not all Mexicans and bad people. I also know for a fact that poverty in Mexico, often leads to a life style "choice" of crime. I know that some Mexicans are hardworking, industrious, highly creative, innovative and family oriented. I also know that some are full blown reprobates with no moral compass, no dignity, no honor and no common sense. Which Mexicans are we allowing to immigrate to the United States and why?

    True Story
    This Just Happened

I just had a run-in today with an undocumented and illegal Mexican immigrant on the streets who was tailgating to the point of endangering my life. After being told to cease all tailgating, the illegal and undocumented Mexican immigrant continued in spite of my warnings. To make a short story even shorter, I went evasive and turned off the street with the intent to make three turns back to my primary direction and continue without being persistently tailgated. The illegal and undocumented Mexican immigrant decided to follow me.

After making my second turn, the undocumented and illegal Mexican immigrant drove around my vehicle, circled in front to block my vehicle, stopped and began emerging from his vehicle. After watching him erratically overtake my vehicle while circling in front to block me, I prepared a counter move in anticipation of his emergence from his vehicle.

I drew down on the illegal and undocumented Mexican immigrant driving a late model Honday Accord with an HK USP chambered in Underwood XD +p 9mm 65 grain. The undocumented and illegal Mexican immigrant stopped his forward press to my vehicle and yelled: "I'm illegal! So, you can't touch me!" If this story were not true, I would have said so. This actually happened just 60 minutes ago.

I commanded the undocumented and illegal Mexican immigrant to return to his vehicle and leave immediately with my front sight tattooed to his upper thoracic region and a strong anti-recoil left countering grip. The undocumented and illegal Mexican immigrant uttered several additional profanities while backing up slowly to his vehicle. When he reached his vehicle, he entered quickly, closed the door behind him and drove away.

I called the police to report everything that had just taken place and had been video recorded in 4K by my car cam system. I offered to review the video with the responding officer at the scene. They each (three of them) took turns reviewing the video. One of the officers said: "Thank you. You did the right thing by trying to initially evade, showing restraint in the moment you were forced to respond and then by calling us afterwards because now we have a suspect."

We took care of some additional investigative details (I basically offered to Air Drop the video from my phone to one of the officer's iOS phones), shook hands and parted company. As we were parting company, one of the additional responding officers who had also watched the video reasserted as he was leaving: "Good Job." I got a third thumbs up gesture from a fourth officer at a distance as he was re-entering his unit. In total, there were seven (7) responding units and nine (9) officers at the scene. There were a total of four (4) handshakes between myself and four different officers before we fully separated.

During my call to dispatch, I made it clear that I was CCW and had just drawn down on a suspect to prevent an imminent attack and that my vehicle video recorded the event. I let dispatch know that no shots had been fired and that the suspect left the scene after being told by me to do so. I let dispatch know that I felt comfortable re-holstering my weapon at that time and would remain in concealed carry condition when the officer(s) arrived. I told dispatch to highlight all responding units that "defender is CCW and currently re-holstered." I asked dispatch to "read back my full statement" and she did so with 100% accuracy. Dispatch then said: "That was a good thing to do - having me read back your call like that."

None of the arriving officers ever questioned me about my firearm. None of them tried to disarm me. None of them asked me to lay on the ground, face down with my hands behind my head as they attempted to disarm me. They responded. They asked me if I was "OK" from an initial distance (officer safety). After I responded "Yes, I'm good. Thanks" - they calmly approached and began asking questions directly related to my call to dispatch.

The system worked as it should today. My continuous and non-stop defensive firearm tactics training worked. 911 dispatch worked. Local law enforcement responding to the call worked. Officer training worked. My on-board hi-resolution cameras with hi-def audio worked (so the officers also heard everything that was said during the creation of the scene today). The Second Amendment worked today. Everything worked as it was meant to work today - a rare moment in time.

About 40 minutes after this incident took place today, I got a call from the lead officer at the scene. He told that they had just stopped the undocumented and illegal Mexican immigrant less than 1 mile from the scene in his vehicle:

    - No drivers license
    - No vehicle insurance
    - Vehicle reported stolen
    - 3 prior arrests
    - 3 prior convictions
    - 1 current outstanding warrant
    - Previously known to be an undocumented and illegal Mexican immigrant by law enforcement
    - Legit California State ID Card
    - Other "criminally oriented" things the officer could not discuss with me

The officer thanked me again - this time more overtly and more thoroughly. The officer said: "You basically made our stop happen today. I'm glad you are safe and that everything turned out good today."

So, I make yet another friend out of an officer today (I have several in my bank account). One bad guy gets cuffed, stuffed and soon to be deported. And, the State of California, is now one less undocumented and illegal Mexican immigrant away from solving its southern boarder immigration problem. Well, two out of three ain't bad. But, can you guess which of the three are STILL major problems here in the lovely State of California?

Gotta love Saturday mornings in California these days. I remember a time in this State when you used to be able to just go out and enjoy a nice Saturday morning drive with not a single worry in the world. Now, its troublesome. You have to worry whether or not you will encounter 'El Chapo' on your way to I-Hop. The "State" of California is not what it used to be.

So, how was your Saturday morning? Nice and peaceful? Still enjoying the Great Sunshine State and all its glorious weather?

I would hate to be in OR around CA when the 'chickens come home to roost'. It may take the BIG ONE to get the ball rolling but mark my words their day of reckoning is coming...

Both the Hens and the Roosters are already here in California. We are well beyond the gestation phase here an in the region of the population transformation phase. The BIG ONE has already happened. It came in the form of creating Sanctuary Cities. We are already past bingo fuel here in CA. You could turn around from here, but you would never make it back to base if you did.

We are already screwed in CA: https://thetechreader.com/top-ten/t...rnia-is-no-longer-the-place-to-be-or-move-to/

And America is not exactly getting Mexico's "best and brightest" either.
Who do you think these border jumpers are? If someone is illegally entering into another country is it any surprise that the chances they are a criminal are much much higher out of that group than out of the group that chose NOT to illegally enter another country?

Mexico does have some (a few) respectable middle class citizens, but they're not among those illegally jumping the border in droves.

At this rate, California is going to start looking like Mexico very very quickly, because they're getting Mexico's underclass and criminal class.

related thread: California soon on its way to being majority Hispanic

Less than 24% of students in public schools in the state are white, compared to 62.8% of the teachers. That should give some idea about how much change there's been over just a single generation.

(source for those statistics here )

Sadly this is all too common. CA is all too friendly to illegals. I got certified to be a mayor in California once, but they ended up giving the position to an illegal for diversity.

Maybe you just don't get it, HerWeGoAgain. Is it entirely possible that you are suffering from a serious bout of self-induced delusion about our real boarder problem? Try this on for size and see how it fits:

Houston, or California, or San Antonio, or wherever the heck you happen to be in the United States of America.... we do indeed have a serious boarder problem on our hands. No extraneous drama necessary. Denying the completely obvious here is rather a disturbing method of coping. The first step to recovery is being willing to admit that Houston has a problem - or California - or San Antonio - or Arizona, or, or, or, or - you pick the longitude and latitude somewhere on US soil and WE have a problem.

Of course, we're getting a large dose of Mexico's underclass and not in personal wealth - that's not how I mean it. I mean "underclass attitude, demeanor, personality, world view, disposition and outlook on life." The underclass attitude that says, "I'm entitled." Maybe its not Mexico's fault. Maybe its our fault. Maybe we've managed to grown such an enormously sick entitlement society that any looser from any part of the world now looks at America as the place where they can go to get over, without ever really contributing to strengthening the fabric of the whole.

    Its not just Mexico.

We've become the Toxic Waste Facility of the entire world and second only to the United Kingdom, which might have an even bigger problem. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting a better lot in life. There is absolutely nothing wrong with feeling like you need to leave your place of birth in order to have an opportunity for building a better life. But, there is most definitely something wrong with leaving your country of origin and dragging personal pollution into another country, lowering the standard of living for nearly everybody else, merely because you feel entitled to do so.
