    What makes you think they will?

    There's sadly no IQ test or 'responsibility' test required to be a parent - there are more perquisites to get a credit card or lease a car than their is to bring a kid into the world.

    Not necessarily crimes, but anti-social behavior - such as bullying, disobedience, etc. Violent crime would only be extreme end, but there are ways to be anti-social without taking it that far.

    It's proven psychological fact that culture is the main influence of anti-social behavior - cultures in the far east where violent media is frowned on and Buddhist and 'peace' strong cultural factors - have much, much lower rates of sociopathy or violent crime, and the rate continues to grow in the US - because the glorification of violence in the media helps encourage it.
