I remember the trouble I got into when I referred to AIDS as a "venereal disease". Critics claimed that wasn't true because there was more than one way to contract HIV/AIDS and something could only be a "venereal disease" if it could be contracted ONLY by sexual contact.

The funny thing is you probably wank off to scenes I've actually lived. But even if you personally haven't (a claim I would find dubious in any event), I guarantee you a very large percentage of people who say such things, especially those with outie genitals, have done so on many occasions.

Is the current monkeypox "breakout" (that like so many other things has been massively overblown by the press) divine punishment, or just a virus going around? And if it's a divine punishment, what is it you suppose I did to deserve such when I got chickenpox at age 6?

In your own little version of reality, perhaps, but not when it comes to making laws, which is the central focus of a political debate forum. "It disgusts me" doesn't qualify as the compelling governmental interest required to regulate or ban behavior legally, especially when there are just as many, if not more people who are not disgusted by it.

Now, many will claim to be, especially those who allege themselves to be religiously pious, but when the doors are closed, the blinds drawn, and the browser is in "InPrivate Browsing Mode", then the truth comes out. Just as it comes out of people's mouths when they think nobody is listening or the microphone isn't turned on.

There is a reason porn uses more bandwidth of the internet than any other single "thing".

I understand that fully. Any activity that shares bodily fluids between two or more people, including sexual activity which tends to share a lot of bodily fluids, can spread diseases, including the virus that causes monkeypox. I not only didn't say otherwise, I acknowledged that as a fact, though I disagree about the doorknob thing... If an infected person with lesions on their hands touched that knob recently, and then another person touched it and subsequently put their fingers in or near their mouth, I think it can and will spread.

Regardless, that's not the question.

The question is do you think monkeypox is divine retribution for having gay butt sex?

 

If you believe otherwise, you are free to keep thinking so. But humans are interesting creatures, and they have many common traits. One of those traits is that they like sex, and watching other people have sex arouses the average person, resulting in a release of the brain's pleasure hormones.

It's really not that dissimilar to using drugs. If you did a poll of your friends, co-workers, classmates, neighbors, or just about anyone that you know, I doubt very much even a single person would admit to being a drug user, aside from prescriptions anyway. Yet, someone out there is using all those illegal drugs. Just like just about every personally owned computer (and many owned by businesses) are used to visit porn sites on a regular basis.

I'm sure if I wanted to badly enough, I could probably write a tattle-tale app that would spread virally to "rat out" those users, but I'm not motivated enough, nor do I wish to invade anyone's privacy.

But as a, what was it I was called, some kind of "pervert" a few posts back, I can tell you from first-hand experience that the number of people like me, who go to sex parties, or are involved in the BDSM scene, or just wank off in front of their computers to pornhub is mind bogglingly astronomical. As is the cross section of society, including those who are at an orgy on Saturday night and in the church pews on Sunday morning. I can attest to all of this personally.

There are almost 8 billion people on the planet for a reason, and it's not because humanity as a whole finds sexuality to be "disgusting".

 

I asked for YOUR opinion. So….let me try this again…Do you believe homosexual contact (I assume you mean sex) is the only way one can get monkey pox?

 

My religious views are none of your business. Nor is your preoccupation with the religion of others any of my business. Its all irrelevant to this discussion.
I do not have any moral judgments to make about what you so childishly call "butt sex". I do not think homosexuals are evil or wrong in any way. I view gays in the same way I view people that pick their nose and eat it. Its not evil... just... icky...
So the whole issue is irrelevant.

 

So gay sex is fine as long as the two men or two women are a married couple? Lucky for them they can do that now.

I don’t really care what you think here. Few members opinions here mean less to me that yours does. What you think matters not. The threads do not bash gays. They protect the free speech and free exercise rights of believers to not be victims of the movement when it comes to creating celebrations that violate religious belief. It is a form of oppression, coercion, and slavery for gays to make believers serve them in this manner.

 

So is homosexuality. So much so that it is an abomination before the creator who ordained marriage between one man and one woman at creation. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for their sins including that one in particular and the one city is now the root word for certain sinful behavior.
