I read an article on flaws in Fed policy back in 1994 that I suspect The Donald has known about for many years.

By dropping out of the race and moving to South America where other defeated Germans hid.

    Oh! I didn't say that did I?

Yes I agree I wish someone would write, if not a report at the very least a bullet proof list of what it means for America to be great again.

    ie.
    - low prison population
    - low unemployment rate
    - affordable health care
    etc.
    - (let's not put world domination in here)

What perplexes me is America was great for a few decades after WW2, but the global environment is completely different now, they were heroes then, but messed up ito foreign policy Korea/Vietnam/Iran/Iraq... etc etc, isn't America being great again also how the world view America or does that not matter. I would like to know exactly what people mean by "make America great again"

do they mean "world domination" or are they referring to the "internal issues" or is this where everyone just go with what it means for them?

He meant "Make America HATE again"...that's why he's using all the coded racism for his followers.

No, its not about world domination. Americans do want to be respected to the point that other nations (Russia, China, terrorists) will be very hesitant before yanking our chain.

Primarily its about returning to the ideals that the nation was founded on - the government has limited powers, its primary purpose is to protect the individuals rights and liberties, people reap the rewards of their labors and also take responsibility for their failures, free markets, free thought. The nation has reached a point at which the feds are in everybody's business from the bedroom to the boardroom.

People basically want to live their lives as they see fit to live, without "progressive" idiots telling them what to think and say and do.

Its also about distrust and disgust of the government. Politicians blatantly lie, cheat, and bribe their way into power and keep doing it to stay in power. Its so bad that in this election we are down to 3 clowns and its an open joke:
1 - Hilary, a woman who has lied, cheated, and stole her entire "career", to protect her political future she ruined women her husband abused, and has been incompetent in every job she has had since graduating from college.
    2 - Trump, a thin skinned man who has no principles and bought Hilary when she was Senator of New York;
3 - Sanders, a professional politician who has not accomplished anything in his entire life, who's old haggard brain regurgitates old failed socialist/communist policies.

A choice between Tweedle-dee, Tweedle-dum, and a senile old moron. And one of them will run the USA - how low the nation has fallen.

Most say the 1950's. I tend to agree. All of those personal freedoms we once had taken away from us by the left.

    The 1980's comes in second.

Those who were unfortunate to be born to late and were raised in a liberal PC nanny state say the 1990's. :roflol: They heard that loud sucking sound but didn't know what it meant until it was to late.

    Each Generation’s “Greatest” Decade
When asked to name America's greatest decade, people generally favored the years when they came of age. But Baby Boomers had an especially dim view of recent years. -> http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2016/05/make-the-sixties-great-again/481167/

In the '50s I heard somewhere that in a whole region of this country, people used to have to sit in the back of a public bus because of the color of their skin. Was that true?

US Soldiers and sailors used to "roll queers" and rob them with impughnity in the '50s. Homosexuals were treated like dirt and ridiculed by others continually.

Lynchings of black people were common occurrences in certain parts of the country.

We're those, the good old days?

I don't think he has a chance. I oscillate between voting for Trump because its so important to keep a total disaster like Hilary out of office, and voting for Johnson as a protest vote which probably means Hilary will win. But maybe its time to push this all over the edge by putting Hilary in the White House, let them crash the economy and and implement their insane policies, let everyone see what a disaster "progressives" are, and hopefully start fresh.

In the early days of the GOP primaries I thought I could support Trump if came down to him or Hillary. However it seems that Trump keeps getting more reckless and crazy as the campaign goes on. I believe that he could be a worse disaster than even Hillary would be. He is obviously a mentally deranged nit wit and also a whining dooshebag. The more you find out about this guy, the worse it gets. Governors Johnson and Weld are far superior as far as policy and character to either of the turds put forth by the two main parties. Right now, they seem like real long shots but so did Trump and Bernie a year ago. Maybe this will be the year that intelligent Americans will stand up and say enough is enough and elect a third party candidate. If Johnson gets onto a debate stage with ignorant blowhard Trump and status Quo do nothing Clinton, it will be obvious to everyone who the superior candidate is.

One way Trump will "make America great again" is by not being Obama and not being Clinton.

    - - - Updated - - -

I understand. You're a Clinton supporter, just like a Nader supporter really was a Bush supporter and a Perot supporter really was a Clinton supporter. Gary Johnson got LESS than 1% of the vote. He's a joke and the reason he is running is to be able to send out fund raising letters for his own pocket, nothing else. Just a scamster hoping to chump people like you for personal profit and to have his little cult followers.

But that doesn't happen. The more the economy crashes the most people become beggars to the government and vote more and more socialist.

I do not agree with your apocalyptic predictions, among other reasons because hillary would not be able to do all that much without the congress

That said, i am mostly nauseated by both trump and clinton
I had thought not to vote
But heard an interview with johnson
And although i am no libertarian, he seems like the least objectionable choice to me

That's the problem with letting it collapse, it has to collapse a long way for enough people to feel enough pain that they will throw off the yoke. A lot of people will suffer. It took 70 years for the USSR to collapse and in the meantime the socialists killed 10's of millions, China is even worse.

    Not where I lived.

    Lets crunch the numbers.

From 1950 - 1959 there were 8 lynchings in America.

6 blacks who committed hideous crimes and 2 whites.

    1 black

Maybe he will rise to the top, I hope he does but fear he will not.

Bush expanded Presidential powers beyond reason but it was behind the scenes, obama went nuts and openly flouts the law and Congress, the next President will push the envelope further. Will Congress gain a spine and real in the executive branch? Doubtful. But if its Hilary and at some point she gains the Congress, I think its over and the nation is going over the edge in the next 5-10 years.

Americans have to become interested in some larger goal for the future.......
America leads the world.... but where to??????

A world of the future as seen by near death experiencer Howard Storm......
in theory..... could partly be financed...... through a different way of looking at money itself.....
but first we need to learn to place a much higher value on human life.......

If you want a preview of what will happen to this nation if Tr(oll)mp ends up in the Oval office just look at the disaster his campaign is turning out to be right now.

A small "inner circle" who protect their "leader" from reality while allowing him to make foolish and denigrating proclamations that lack any cohesive message.

In essence what Tr(oll)mp will actually do is Flush America Down the Grate!

Not even the sane members of the GOP want to see him in the Whitehouse.

The last time the economy crashed was when a Republcan was President or have you forgotten the Bush recession. Contrary to Conservative hopes and efforts that feat hasn't been repeated in the last eight years of " progressive" government.

The Temple in Atlanta was the fourth southern synagogue to be bombed in little more than a year. Only days later, another synagogue was bombed, this time in Peoria, Illinois.

Hurray for the (cough-cough) "good old days" - NOT
