Citzenship....? So people who are not citizens of the country...aren't really people, eh? Birth is not the beginning of our lives. If it were women would be pregnant for a split second and not nine months. Also we would have no laws that do protect the life inside the womb. Say, if what you say is the truth....then wow....you should be pro-late term abortion, right? Cause if that is the beginning...then everything before it is meaningless.

And now , back to the topic which isn't late term abortion.

Thankyou for that quote above ...only DOPES would argue with it or whine about the messenger. The message is right on.

It does seem rather odd for a pro-lifer, someone who finds abortion to be disgusting and wrong, to laugh so much about it.

I mean almost every post of yours ends with a big "LOL"...

Just because a cell is alive, that doesn't mean it is living a life. Look at any of these dictionaries entries: http://www.onelook.com/?w=life&ls=a

They define life as the period between someone's birth and death. Not a one of them defines it as the period between conception and death.

Only we all know that every new human being begins existence at conception and is alive.

If you believe that then report it and let the MOD's decide.

Then every form of good birth control should be promoted ...including vasectomies.

Once again, you can't remember your own question which, if you CAN follow along , was answered. YOU asked, ""Why did we need to make it legal then?""

and I answered. Just because you didn't like the answer doesn't mean it doesn't exist....

If a woman comes to a clinic for an abortion...what does the abortionist do?
    What is the abortionists goal?
What has to happen for the abortion to be a success?

He has got to KILL THE NEW LIFE STARTED IN THE WOMB. This new life is a human, it is a being. It is a newly created human being...that is alive, or no service would be necessary to kill it. Scientific fact.....an embryo that develops from the fertilization of a human egg and a human sperm is a human embryo. An embryo is a human life.

Biology clearly defines human life as beginning when the fertilization process is complete and a new, genetically unique organism comes into being.

I see no proof that it isn't being promoted by and large, but I know you like to harp on the miniscule exceptions to the rule.

Oh I should have clarified, "We" means all educated people. Any anyone who has ever read a human biology textbook.

    For "them"? Who is "them"?

Biology textbooks speak for themselves as do Embryology textbooks, both of which clearly state that every new human being's life begins at conception.

Your insults only show that you are desperately trying to compensate for a shortcoming, I think we all know what that shortcoming is.

Who is "them"? Duh, try to follow your own posts . "Them" is the "we" you referred to :"We" means all educated people. Any anyone who has ever read a human biology textbook.""

I didn't post an insult and then delete it.....

What is it called when opinion is asserted as fact? LOGICAL FALLACY. What is it called when opinion is repeatedly asserted as fact after being proven wrong? DISHONESTY. There is no consensus in science, theology or philosophy about when one becomes a human being. There is no consensus about when life begins.

Not correct, try doing some research into vanishing twin syndrome and you will find that 1 in 8 pregnancies result in a vanishing twin - vanishing twin is where one twin is absorbed by the other - you will also find that the DNA of the vanished twin can remain intact within the other twin which is known as a chimera .. if as you assert that a unique human being comes into being at the moment of conception then how do you address the chimera situation, which basically means two sets of DNA within a single body, is this now two beings or one.

Case study summary - A 2003 study in the New England Journal of Medicine by Dr Margot Kruskall of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, reported the case of a mother who required a kidney transplant. All three of her natural sons were tested as potential donors, but only one appeared to be her biological son, although she gave birth to all of them. Genetic tests revealed that the patient was a chimera–a physical blend of fraternal twin sisters–and her ovaries produced eggs belonging to both twins, thus she could give birth to three sons who were genetic half-brothers; one of them sharing DNA with his mother and two sons sharing DNA with their vanished “aunt.” - http://grisaleen.xanga.com/143874885/item/

    Full case study - http://www.nejm.org/doi/pdf/10.1056/NEJMoa013452

Another case study identified a male who underwent genetic testing, it was found that the DNA of his skin was completely different from the DNA in his sperm.

Here is one of many educated people who disagree with you:

One obscure individual does not negate all embryology textbooks and many biology textbooks.

But, he's a medical doctor, doesn't he qualify as educated? Give it up. There is no consensus for your claim.

One "anomaly"? I have provided several sources so far, including a Pulitzer Prize winning embryologist. Here are quotes from two online biology sites:

"There is no consensus regarding the answer to the question as to when does life begin."
    http://www.biology-online.org/dictionary/Life

    From devbio.com:

Current Scientific Views of When Human Life Begins

"Current perspectives on when human life begins range from fertilization to
gastrulation to birth and even after...Contemporary scientific literature proposes a variety of
answers to the question of when human life begins."

ALL embryology textbooks disagree with you, basic logic disagrees with you, and there simply is no rational basis to claim a human being's life does not begin at conception. It is a scientific fact!

The beginning of every human being is indisputably conception. The human being is alive at that point. Duhhhh!

Conception is indisputably the beginning of reproduction, a process that normally takes 40 weeks.

Atcually it is indisputably the beginning of every new human life.
