The Department of Defence is it's own organization and has been doing this sort of thing for quite some time.

 

Honestly, in this day and age who really cares about the founding fathers or what they wanted?

 

Certianly not the likes of statist control freaks looking to trample any liberty they can in the pursuit of other people's property.

 

The regime prefers the word gulags. How long, well how long is a piece of string? depends how hard they work and how long they can survive.

Even the term Founding Fathers reminds me of some secretive underground religious movement.

 

Anyone who still thinks the military is "pure" and free of the authoritarian, fascist tendencies that plague the US government just because their son is some 'brave army hero' needs to really ponder the fact that the military is just as much a government run department as the dept. of education or labor - ie. they are to be viewed highly suspiciously and heavily scrutinized.

The word "government" and the word "regime" mean exactly the same thing!
