How much more ‘could you care less’?
And yes, bragging about yourself is absolutely arrogant.

Is sharing factual information bragging? How many here ‘Brag’ about not needing to carry a gun as a bid to disparage those that chose to excersize their right and carry? Oh, I get it, it depends on which narrative is supported. Sell your snake oil elsewhere, empty words on me. If you don’t like my posts you have the right and the means to ignore me, just as you have the right to not carry; makes no difference to me.

Hahaha...it’s not bragging to admit one doesn’t carry. It IS bragging to say you’re an ‘expert’ with a knife. Maybe you just don’t understand what the definition of ‘bragging’ is.

I was good at blowing apart pheasants. I won't brag though. Never got the chance to great white hunt the capercaillie. They'd rip your throat out from 10 paces, so they would. I hear Al Qaeda are training them to attack us. Its the very reason I'm thinking of buying in these little beauties:

    Maybe you don’t either.
Tell me, what would you consider is the criteria for being an expert with a knife. Let’s start there.

What does the criteria have to do with anything? The point is that anyone who needs to tell others he/she is an 'expert' at anything is bragging. I respect those who are good at what they do but are humble enough not to going around telling others how good they are at that thing.

So, It’s not whether somebody has expertise, it’s bad form say so. I don’t care for your respect, it’s meaningless to me. When you focus on form and not the context in which an assertion was made, you divert from the points being made and turn to inflict what is intended as a personal insult because you really have nothing substantive to add. OK, I get it. Insult away.

    Actually it’s all I hear when I’m dealing with a self-serving braggart.

If insults are going to be traded so freely, it would not hurt to engage in a constructive and clever approach to doing such.

Yes, in response to yours. But, that was in part, your objective, not any substantive discussion of this or any OP.

Your greatest error was saying that you "could care less". Neatly advertised how logic isn't your buddy!

But I thought bragging wasn’t a bad thing??? Therefore it shouldn’t be an insult to call you out for bragging, right???

I won't be able to influence your gun attitudes, but please don't make that error again. It makes me wanna hate Americans and that's a bad thing!

    Make what error?
How can anything I post make you hate other Americans; what I write I own, I don’t presume to represent anyone, less all Americans. Don’t like me or what I write, send your hate my way and don’t use me to justify a biased generalization of others. BTW, does that also apply to the Irish given I am an ex-Pat?

That you can't see the error means I need to reverse out, quick smart, to escape the House of 1000 Corpses extra

What pretense? I was born in the US of an American woman, first Irish generation, and Irish father, raised in West Belfast from before the age 1, and came back to the US as an adult. Given my DNA my suposed ancestry, I probably qualify as a mutt and certainly not acceptable class material had I stayed.
