That's not the way any of this works. They make the law, they inform, threaten, inform, threaten, inform, then FINALLY start to enforce in earnest.

And as I said, at some point, you double or so, the penalties, as EVERYONE knows.

So, there may be a few holdouts, with heavily locked down arms. That NEVER see the light of day. That in itself, is a good result.

Reciting your fantasy over and over wont make it true. Your diliberate ignorance of the fact the we dont live in a vacuum indicates a lack of realism. Of course one household doesnt stand a chance of resisting the govt. Thats why individuals organize into groups like OathKeepers and CSPOA (both made up of police and military) and other Civil Defense groups (also with large ex-military make-ups).

An additional question relevent tto the OP that you should consider: how many government agents are you willing to sacrifice in the pursuit of gun control? Cuz it wont just be civilians dying if mass confiscation is ever attempted.
