If I were Palestine, nodody would give a damn about what I would do. Their democratic elections were ignored by the West, who happen to dislike the results.

Still, If I were Palestine, I'd be looking for a palestinian Ghandi to lead my people. A strong moderate, who would serve as an exemple. This Ghandi, with widespread civilian desobedience and peace sit-ins, would attract much more positive attention froim the rest of the world.

If we had the same problems with Mexico as Israel has with Palestine there would not be any Mexico. The Israelis have been very even handed when compared to the USA in similar instances. When we wanted land from the Native Americans, Spanish, or Mexicans we took it and killed anyone that got in our way. Not a pleasant portrait of history but accurate.

Not a whole lot of differences there, but a key difference is Mexico invited in Anglo-Americans to help them govern against Native American raids, while the Palestinians did not invite in the Jews.

Might makes right in international relations. We had more strength then Mexico thus we got Texas. Israel is the same they are more advanced and more powerful than the Palestinians and will eventually take all of the territory. The real question is when and how bloody will it be.
