10,000 a day would be 3.6 million gun deaths a year in the USA. But total deaths from all causes are about 2.6 million in the USA. There were 72,000 drug overdose deaths in the USA last year 2017, and drug deaths are going through the roof in 2018. Gun related deaths are slightly more than half of drug overdose deaths in 2017. Drugs are waaaay more dangerous than guns.
The side of the facts. Facts are the only thing important, and facts are the only thing that truly matter. Not political division or ideological loyalty connected to party affiliation. The truth of the matter is that if the entire population of the united states killed itself off, the rest of the world would barely even notice, and then it would move on with its own existence.
The only truly effective way of doing such is to remove them from the equation entirely. Either incarcerate them from the duration of their natural lives, or terminate them. So long as they remain free in society, doing such is a physical impossibility.
I see no one can point out where in the constitution we can not have what is in the op. Time for me to pack my m 60 for my flight
True. If all the people die off by any means in any country, it matters not. If all the people die in just one hemisphere, it matters not. The survivors will rush in and take all the goodies, good for them.
Terminating their lives is not an option. Still the question remains, how do you determine who is sane and who is insane? Sometimes the onset of mental illness does not occur until later on in life.
I've never heard of that; however I should add that until these people are diagnosed with mental illness they have full access to guns, etc. That could give them time to do plenty of damage to society.
Such is always the question, as the term "insane" is thrown around with no regard for its importance. Depending upon who is asked, voting for Donald Trump makes one insane, meaning political party affiliation is being used as a test for mental stability.
Are suggesting that we lock them up so that they can't do damage to society with automobiles, gasoline, fertilizer, etc?
I'm pro-liberty, regardless of the reasons and even when I might prefer a different situation. You are pro-violence when it's done by the state and suits your agenda. It's that simple.
