    Research the location this year....checking winds daily for speed and direction.

    Where the tower is placed will decide the production level as much as the size.

    Not only where, but also how tall the tower is will affect the output of the wind turbine. A general rule is that for every ten feet above the surrounding height, you'll experience worthwhile efficiency gains.
