Saddle every member of society with a huge debt burden. It used to be house mortgages (maybe still is). This makes sure the people keep their heads down and work to pay the bankers their every increasing bonuses. Now we have student loans which start earlier and guarantee that some of their income is paid back to the banks. Again to pay the bankers their ever increasing bonuses.

And I thought all this was for the benefit of "we the people". Maybe I was either confused or misguided.

go to a state college and get a job...then you wont need a huge student loan...most businesses could care less what college you went to..its what you know..not how much it cost you

So are you telling me it doesn't matter which college or University you go to. It used to. What has changed?

huge debt burden? stiff em all and the bankers will go bankrupt. Its not like protecting your credit rating is worth anyone having control over you.

*shrug* Don't borrow to buy a house you can't afford or an education that won't pay for itself when you graduate.

The banks are greedy and take advantage of the college students. Awful!
