Not enough to raise a family and purchase a $195,000 dollar mansion.
I made 27k that year and struggled to afford our 24k home. Keep in mind in those days you needed 20% down and interest rates were near 10%.
Where did Biden come up with 20% down on a 195k home when he made 45k a year?

Biden has made public statements admitting his support of the Crime bill was a mistake, & he wants to correct it. I hope he does that during his administration. Having a black VP just might provide the emphasis to actually do it.

No President is perfect. They are all human. They all err. Sometimes it takes awhile to see the impacts of our actions. It took awhile for whites to recognize the impact of that Crime bill on the black community. But now it's clear, & it must be corrected. Let's give Biden & our new Congress a chance to accomplish that before we close the doors on them. They aren't even in office yet.

I understand your hostility toward the man you voted against. But America became a world leader in large part because of its ability for over 200 years, of passing from one political side to the other peacefully. That's a pretty important strength. Trump is challenging that now, but not because America needs that challenge, but because he's incapable of doing anything for anyone unless he wins something from it personally--even the nation he swore to serve. After Trump, America is traumatized, & needs help healing. I hope you'll take into consideration as this transition continues. Everybody's good will counts. :gop::):democrat:

You mean "Where was that advice the past 12 years?" I don't know. Lost somewhere. America needs us to relocate it & live it. Let's start remembering we're all Americans. We're all responsible for the part we play individually & how that affects those around us. We not only need to reinvest our money into America. We need to reinvest our love for America & our fellow Americans. You have a right to like Trump & his policies. I have a right to like something different. That's what the promise of America is supposed to be. But America needs both of us to care about this country, which protects both our rights to be different. :gop::):democrat:

$195,000 in 1974 was mansion money. Biden bought a mansion on a senator’s salary? Lol

No. I've thought it was time for all of us to come together after every election I've voted in. For me, nothing's changed. But my country--or its people--have changed around me. I've been unhappy with the growing polarization since it started. My discomfort grows constantly as it becomes ever more extreme. I want an end to the extremism & to the thinking that turns our neighbors into political enemies. America is supposed to have room for every perspective. This polarization has damaged that quality of America to the point of exterminating it. I want it back. Trump supporters have a right to regard themselves as "enemies" of everyone in disagreement with them. But that's not the American way. That's the way of the despot.

There are not enough people left in the KKK/neo-Nazi groups to skew any poll, and half of them are probably working for local and federal law enforcement.

There are usually only a couple of fairly accurate political polls in any election cycle.
They still have some impact on fundraising and voter suppression - much less after this election.

Much of a what has passed itself off as a "progressive" movement has always been virulently racist, and most of these "progressives".but not all have been Democrats. Apologists for the racist actions of the DP's leadership are part of the problem.

"You, today, are in the hands of a government of segregationists. Racists, white supremacists, who belong to the Democratic party but disguise themselves as Dixiecrats. A Dixiecrat is nothing but a Democrat. Whoever runs the Democrats is also the father of the Dixiecrats. And the father of all of them is sitting in the White House. [applause] I say, and I'll say it again, you got a president who's nothing but a southern segregationist [applause] from the state of Texas. They'll lynch in Texas as quick as they'll lynch you in Mississippi. Only in Texas they lynch you with a Texas accent, in Mississippi they lynch you with a Mississippi accent. [cheering]"
    https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Malcolm_X

Biden has addressed his role as an active leaders of the Dixiecrats in the Senate by bragging about in his 2007 autobiography.
There has been nothing subtle about Biden's racism.

“But campaigning in Alabama in April, Biden talked of his sympathy for the South; bragged of an award he had received from George Wallace in 1973 and said ‘we [Delawareans] were on the South’s side in the Civil War.”

Yes, the supposed champion of black Americans who is running against the supposed horrific racist Donald Trump once prided himself on his connection to notorious segregationist George Wallace. Biden once identified himself as a supporter of the Confederacy in the Civil War. The same Confederacy that was not only founded on race-based slavery but emerged after decades of Southerners attempting to extend race-based slavery into the territories.

In fact, the evidence that this election was rigged by the corrupt DP party bosses has been conclusive from the day of the election. Hint: denying the obvious does not enhance credibility. :)

I did some research, you have point. I've linked to what I found but don't worry I won't "paste it up" since you seem to think it's funny that I include support for my statements, you do too, but you think seem to think that it's only cool if you do it.

Anyway seems like political correctness has painted itself into a corner.

    Good job :rock_slayer:

Government is seldom used to fix problems. It is almost always used to enrich and empower a corrupt ruling political class.
That is the nature of human government.

“They gather, all the brands, at the self-referential festivals, like the April White House Correspondents Association dinner, whose buffet of “pre-parties” and “after-parties” now number more than two dozen– because a single banquet, it is clear, cannot properly celebrate the full achievements of the People Who Run Your Country. … The insider swarm has been known by various names: “Permanent Washington”. “The Political Class”. “The Chattering Class”. “The Usual Suspects”. “The Beltway Establishment”. “The Echo Chamber”. “The Echo System”. “The Gang of 500”. “The Gang of 600”. “The Movable Mess”. “The Club”.
THIS TOWN, Mark Leibovich, Penguin Books, 2013 p. 8.

Homelessness exists because the economy does not generate enough well paying menial jobs to employ millions of Americas who no longer have the skills needed to join the skilled labor force.
And yes, government could fix that problem quickly with relative ease - but it clearly won't.

Stealing elections is not a solution to any problem.

    This one though?

Looks like the Trump campaign gave up on AZ and NV and it looks like His legal team dropped him in PA I'll let you google that.

    Not looking good though.

As far as credibility, that was about your claims of forced sterilization not fake news or election rigging.

You have been misinformed. Trump's real effective support for Israel, Jews, and the minority communities in America makes him completely incompatible with every National Socialist/KKK organization, and almost all of the were very supportive of Obama for obvious reasons that they are not shy about sharing.

"White people are faced with either a negro or a total nutter who happens to have a pale face. Personally I'd prefer the negro. National Socialists are not mindless haters. Here, I see a white man, who is almost dead, who declares he wants to fight endless wars around the globe to make the world safe for Judeo-capitalist exploitation, who supports the invasion of America by illegals--basically a continuation of the last eight years of Emperor Bush. Then, we have a black man, who loves his own kind, belongs to a Black-Nationalist religion, is married to a black women--when usually negroes who have 'made it' immediately land a white spouse as a kind of prize--that's the kind of negro that I can respect. Any time that a prominent person embraces their racial heritage in a positive manner, it's good for all racially minded folks. Besides, America cares nothing for the interests of the white American worker, while having a love affair with just about every non-white on planet Earth. It'd be poetic justice to have a non-white as titular chief over this decaying modern Sodom and Gomorrah."

Everyone, even the NYT, admitted that The Bidens were crooks until the DNC rigged its primaries and nomination process to select him as the DP candidate.

"But Edward C. Chow, who follows Ukrainian policy at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, said the involvement of the vice president’s son with Mr. Zlochevsky’s firm undermined the Obama administration’s anticorruption message in Ukraine."

“Now you look at the Hunter Biden situation, and on the one hand you can credit the father for sending the anticorruption message,” Mr. Chow said. “But I think unfortunately it sends the message that a lot of foreign countries want to believe about America, that we are hypocritical about these issues.”

Middle Class Joe = The Big Lie.

“For most of his 44-year-long career in public office, Joe Biden had a nickname: Middle Class Joe. He also often called himself "one of the poorest members of Congress." His scrappy roots—born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, to a father who suffered a number of financial setbacks—are now a big part of his 2020 presidential campaign's plan to appeal to American voters.”

“This Georgian-style house, which they rented from venture capitalist Mark Ein (Zillow estimates that it costs $20,000 a month), used to be the home of Alexander Haig, who was the Secretary of State during the Reagan administration and the White House chief of staff to Presidents Nixon and Ford. Sprawled out over 12,000 square feet, the five-bedroom mansion has a gym, sauna, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a driveway big enough for 20 cars. (It was reported in February that the Bidens are no longer renting this mansion.)”

The "progressive" movements' involvement with mass sterilization is well documented.

"The domestic population policy U.S. government has an undeniably racist edge. Native American, Chicana, Puerto Rican and Black women continue to be sterilized in disproportionate numbers. According to a National Fertility Study conducted in 1970 by Princeton University's office of Population Control, 20% of all married Black women have been permanently sterilized. I'm probably the same percentage of Chicana women had been rendered surgically infertile. Moreover, 43% of the women sterilized through federally subsidized programs were Black."

No you don't, because I don't have any. I do have hostility towards people and the media who think Biden is the opposite of everything they falsely, and with malice, claim that Trump is. We can't discuss the issues because Trump is a racist Russian agent who murdered >200,000 Americans, and that Joe is just good old Uncle Joe.

    It's nauseating.

The left has made clear what it thinks of me a a Trump voter who appreciates his focus on ending wars, controlling the border, and calling China out for what it is, and so I bid them an un-fond adieu.

    1. Seldom possibly, but in Spring 2020, our government successfully passed a bill helping both businesses & workers unemployed due to the Covid spread. It helped a lot of people, including me, for I was furloughed by my job for two months. Pelosi tried to work with McConnell to pass a follow up bill to continue the aid into the Autumn, but McConnell said no, & closed off the process. Government isn't inherently bad; & it has tremendous potential for doing good work, but individuals focused on self-promotion often clog the system.
    2. I suggest term limits be passed applying to every elected politician & Justice of the courts--including the SCOTUS. That would help weaken--possibly end--the Washington Establishment or its entrenchment.
    3. I agree that's one cause. There are others. Homelessness is a complex issue. But I agree government could make a positive difference if they would. I don't know why they don't, but they should.
    4. Nobody has stolen this or past elections, except in 1876, when an elector was bought off & voted for R. B. Hayes, making him President. The 2020 election was a splendid success. It surpassed all previous elections in numbers of voters & had public scrutiny plus watchers from both parties to assure voting & counting security. It was fun to watch.

I understand your concerns. It is certainly time to stop fighting each other & reconnect as fellow Americans. I hope things improve.
