Way to go ass-kissing Amazon. Last night I turned on the tube, switched over to amazon prime and what did I see? "Selma", "I am not your Negro" and a plethora of racist based race baiting movies. I don't own amazon stock and the little bald bastard keeps this kind of stuff up, I never will. This whole thing has just gotten pathetic. A thug, high on meth and fentanyl - rap sheet mile long - has now become the symbol of all things wrong with white people. If you are white, you don't have anything to be ashamed of. You didn't own any slaves and most likely neither did any of your ancestors. Anthony Johnson, the first legal slave owner in the former British Colonies, was a black man. Blacks started slavery, whites ended slavery. So for Amazon and every other virtue signaling white guilted person.....I am not your negro either.
I agree. How much longer are we going to be berated with the B.S. I've gotten to the point that I'm simply desensitized and I don't care.
He never claimed he actually WATCHED these things. Amazon Prime leans left (but does now have Season 4 of The Expanse so Bezos ain't THAT bad, c'mon.....). Ahem! Back to what you were saying. Quite true. Not just true but instructive. If a liberal tries to tell you that a fentanyl user who resisted arrest is some sort of hero, no matter what race he is...just laugh. Change to science fiction. It's more believable than the Democrats in 2020.
I own Amazon stock - made $600 a share over the last few months. Very happy! Acknowledging history does not make one ashamed - it just is what it is.
You watched a man murdered by cops in cold blood, but this is what annoys you. Okay, we have your number.
Why don't we mourn the black retired policeman in St Louis who was killed in cold blood defending a friend's store?
How many celebrities did he have at his funeral? Was it carried on national TV? He contributed more to society than Floyd.
The First slave ship to the America's was named after a mid-eastern Jew "Jesus." Why does everyone wish to deny the past? It happened. I try and look at all these things as "we aren't a perfect species but we aren't as barbaric as our forefathers. I was just watching this guy on MSNBC who wants to regulate what is said on social media. As much as some speech and video may be offensive to some it is what it is. Once you regulate such things it is only a matter of time that all speech and video will be left up to the discretion of who has power at the time. Don't we object to companies like Google ,Tweeter and Facebook who cave into countries that want to censure their citizens? Why would anyone want to censure free speech in America? I worry about groups that want to censure speech (even this forum) disarms it's citizens and now it's police force. Where are the old voices of those who suffered in Europe when the tyrants implemented these tactics in the Jewish ghettos and other minority communities. Where are those voices from the Asian communities who have experienced the death camps and loss of freedom. Is not Hong Kong in danger of loosing her freedom now? It would do for many good to read books like "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" by William L. Shirer or "1984" by George Orwell. It may be me, but I get the feeling that many of my countrymen, are playing the "Game of Thrones" .
"Your cold-blooded killer cop heroes," presumes what is not EVER in evidence had you read my various posts on racial businesses and black progress among respectable people whose pigmentation is as accidental as my own. Murder is what a jury says it is, and those four ACCUSED cops will get their time in court, which is ENTIRELY all our system can and should do for any accused person however controversial the case. The autopsy confirmed recent drug use and it is a fact the suspect defied police instruction---which THEN got out of hand once he resisted. It was not the kneeling which directly caused the death, but a contributing factor which a jury must consider to establish degree of guilt under state's laws. Rodney King needed repeated Tasing being on drugs himself (PSP as I recall). The point is, people on drugs do stupid things. This present tribute to poor judgment would still be alive had he not resisted. These cops would not be awaiting trial had emotion not overruled procedures.
It appeared that the "No" was part of the following sentence. I haven't you say anything that indicated you did not approve of his extra attention. Saying he did not deserve it, is not the same as saying you did not approve.
Since he became an obvious visible symbol of the problem many feel we have, yes. One can't unsee what happened to him and that makes it powerful. So the attention has shifted from the man to the problem. I wonder if those who continue to belittle the man and ignore the problem realize they are making sure it isn't going away soon?
