    What was the goal? How the hell would I know what Trump's goal was? You'd have to ask him. As for what it accomplished? Let's say for the sake of argument that it accomplished precisely NOTHING!

    If you're the sort of person who automatically sees peaceful protesters exercising their protected first amendment rights (which I don't think you have so maybe that's why you can't get it?) in a public space THUG ANIMALS and finding such a notion as laugh-out-loud funny, I guess you'll never know quite how serious I ( and apparently millions of other Americans) can be.

    Actually it seems it was William Barr who appeared to order the gas cull (one can only speculate on the dotard coward's knowledge of such since he, characteristically, won't step up to the plate and admit it). You and I obviously have a far different notion of what constitutes a "thug animal".

    He's being sued for that now which isn't going to be funny at all.

    I wasn't talking about the peaceful protestors, I was talking about the thugs. I thought that you were referring to Trump talking tough about "dominating the streets" etc. in reference to the riots all across the country. However, it looks like you are talking about what happened in Lafayette Square, which is nothing other than a conspiracy theory - that Trump conspired with the US Park Police to clear the way for his walk. This conspiracy theory is being reported as FACT, and obviously you have accepted it. Even the accusation that teargas was used is a lie! Park Police deny using it! :roflol:

    Yea ha ha, it appears they are at least admitting to using pepper gas though apparently cannisters of other gasses were also found at the scene.

    I don't know why you keep posting laughing emojis about this. A great many Americans find nothing funny in this whatsoever. This will have serious ramifications on policing in this country going forward and the extent to which US law enforcement can be used against its own citizens in pursuit of political gain.

    Of course not. But if actual protesters didn't want to be associated with riot-loot-burn-murder they would remove themselves from the fray and leave twilight and the overnight hours to the rioter-looter-burner-murderers and the police.
