My Bible teaches me that my salvation rests with one verse .

John 3:16 > For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son , that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish , but have everlasting Life.

If science could give you immorality, would that change your mind?

Salvation isn't "immortality" --neither is everlasting life (theologically speaking).

"but have everlasting Life" <-- the false belief that you can live forever is a very powerful to keep believing.

It's not the body living forever, and people of faith recognize that. "You are dust, and unto dust you shall return."

You miss his point, it is the LOVE. The love of God that draw us to him. What's the use if we don't have his love and his rules for us even if we get immorality? Who want to live in this wicked world forever?
But of course, I admit, immorality is very attractive too. It is a free gift, why wouldn't I take it? You should too.

In case you're not aware of it, there is no such thing as a true statement that cannot be rendered effectively meaningless by excessive repetition.

    Why is the world wicked?

Why do you think we have to live on this planer forever?

Morals do not come from religion or 'god'.

You really need to think a little more about this, or start expanding your horizons on what the human race is on the verge of doing.

Let's say people killing each other, billions live in man-made poverty, starvation.....and much more, just look at the news and people around you, less and less people honor principle and morals.

Why not? That's God's original plan, we deserve it, I am not shame to want to live forever. Don't you want to live forever?

Yes, morals come from God. Have you wonder why anicent civilizations or many different cultures of people in different nations share similar moral standards? It's all from one God, all our ancient ancestors learn from one God, then, they passed down to their descendants , differnt groups developed, seperate, add some of their own rules, cancel some, develop their own standards in their own cultures, but we still can see the basic morals in all of them. But it may be too far back that we can't trace back for proof that our ancestors in the very beginning worshipped the same God.

Where do you think the human race is heading? A brigher future or a more disastrous one?

Why are you people so attracted to immorality?

What is it you don't like about being in accord with standards of right or good conduct?

I always thought that religion preached morality.

God has allowed me the choice not to believe in him.

    The news?

Perhaps you need neew friends, because Im not seeing what you are.

Sure there is poverty, but mankind is much better off than it was 100,200,500,1,000 years ago. The average person has much more wealth then they did 100,200,500,1,000 years ago. Perhaps you should learn some history and kind an idea of just how hard life used to be compared today.

Why should we live on this rock forever? Why do we deserve it? We shouldn't we travel the stars? Because you have some imaginary friend that says otherwise?

I want to live for a very long time. I want to travel the stars. See new planets. Spread life through out the galaxy and possibly the universe.

Morals do not come from god. Even animals show empathy and morals towards one another. For instance, in 1993 Elephants were seen helping antelope out of a man made enclosure they became trapped in. No reward other than to help another species on this planet.

A very bright future. It sounds to me like you have had messages like man is too wicked said to you way to many time. So many, that you ware unable to see the good in mankind and anything beyond the bible. I pity you.

Are you sure that is _why_ you believe? I can see how it's a good argument for several things once you believe it, but I don't see the leap to believing.

I am pretty sure that a few scientists are out there looking as hard as possible for some treatment that will give 'immorality' to all the Christians.

Are you serious? You don't think we live in a terrible world? Even under this global financial crisis?

And you never have co-workers stab your back, or make lies, just to climb up at the cost people around them? Don't you ever at least dislike your arrogant bosses? Are you really living in a real world? Everyone have some actual life experiences, will know what I mean. Life is not easy.

That's not enough. My life's expectation is much higher. Not only do I and my family live better, I want everyone live good, no wars, no poverty, no starvation, no pain, no tears.......and only Jesus come back, should we have the life that we can truly enjoy. I have no any hope for any human governing.
"Human rule Human, only bring suffers"

God didn't say we can't travel through space, stars and live on the earth.

Of course you can, espectially when Jesus come back and rule the world, I am sure he will help us to develop space travels and will have much less accidents or dead in experiments

    Animals created from God too.

Let's just say, I have high expectation in mankind. We can all do better.

God doesn't exist. This is a red herring anyways because:

You stated that 'god's' original plan is to have us stay on this Earth. Now your backpedaling.

I wont even waster my time the rest of the post. Its clear you have been told one too many times that man is wicked, the Earth is wicked and that only some myth can save you. I cannot debate someone who is brainwashed,or back pedals on what they say.

and the Egyptian Book of the Dead gives you directions on what happens when you die. They are both books, written by humans thousands of years ago. George Lucas wrote that Anakin WAS the Chosen one destined to bring balance to the Force, but it does not mean that it really happened.
