I like to call it a "Very few people know this, but Lincoln was a Republican" moment

We remember a few weeks ago when the Governor of Georgia "broke the news" (in his mind) that asymptomatic people with Covid-19 could spread the virus. This was a "shock" to his whole... brain!

Of course, the rest of the world (at least people who were moderately informed) knew this months before this "ground-shaking" announcement.

In my conversations with Trump supporters I've seen many having similar moment. One was about a month late in coming up with the "news" that the virus can travel more than 6 feet. The other came with the three-month-old shocker, that the virus can penetrate through the eyes even if you're wearing a mask (that was probably one of the first things we knew for sure almost since the start of the pandemic). Yes we know all that. Yes we know that most KKK members were Democrats in the early 20th century. Yes... we knew that Lincoln was a Republican...

But what struck me was how much time it has taken for many Trump supporters to start paying attention to this pandemic. And even more shocking is how far they still have to go.

I have seen too many who don't understand that the reason the CDC recommends wearing a mask, is not to protect the wearer, but to protect others. That social distancing has worked in many countries of the world that have put us to shame (Jordan, Denmark, Costa Rica, ...).

This is not a partisan issue. The Trump Administration's very own CDC has published a short but detailed set of very sensible guidelines. I say again: the Trump administration We're praising it!

I know that Trump, the Trump network and their echo-chamber have done nothing but undermine their own administration. But remember this! Because we know that the time will come when the neuralizer will be used on Trump supporters. They will forget. And Trump will be quick to demand praise be given to him for having written the guidelines.

But right now is when they matter. This is the time when they need to be applied. Later you can vote for Trump for having such a great CDC staff that put out such great guidelines. But, at this point, what you need to do is follow those guidelines.

Because if you don't, you will just be helping the spread of the virus that causes more death.

"Nobody knew that health care is so complicated"--- Donald "Stable Genius" Trump.

Trump is stupid. Yes, he's a good self promoter, hypester, con man, but he's stupid, nevertheless. I'm a nobody and I"m smarter than that. He's not IQ stupid, he's wisdom stupid. His concept of the complexities of running a country are on a simplistic level. He's not to the job.

To have a dumbass like Trump while we are in a pandemic, is a recipe for disaster, and it is a disaster. Lives could have been saved.

    Trump lied, people died.

Numbers for new cases have been between 500 and 700ish per day since March 31 in Georgia. Pretty constant, and not decreasing.

Were you going to just plop that cherrypick down and not deal with the comprehensive data from the GA website I already posted? Of course you were.
