Wikileaks commits CYBERTERRORISM agains the United States, hacking into government servers and stealing classified data. That's why they are not protected.

And there is some evidence that they have tried to sell classified information stolen. We know for a fact that they were knowingly working with Russia to hack the DNC and Clinton servers. They also allegedly tried to hack into DOD severs.
