Sometimes it's not about skin color but cultural behavior.

Such as how Bill Cosby is called a traitor to his race for being conservative when, for some reason, the black community believe everybody should be liberal and a slave to the Democratic party.

 

Actually the problem with Bill Cosby is he is a hypocrite. During the Civil Rights Movement Bill Cosby hid like a coward and did nothing, after that he flourished off the blood and tears of others who didn't hide. What was the Cosby Kids about? Look at some of his early movies Uptown Saturday Night, Lets do it again, etc.

He loves to stand in front of white folks and well off to do black folks and criticize black folks in the hood. In other words he is not talking to the black folks who need to hear it. Why doesn't he take his ass down in the "hood" and actually talk to the folks whom he is talking about.

He may well be one, he reminds me of Clarence Thomas. You can't use an avenue to attain success and then turn around and criticize that avenue after it has helped you get to the plateau of your career. It makes you a hypocrite.

Elyjah Marrow, grandson of rapper and actor Ice-T, was arrested after he accidentally shot and killed his 19-year-old roommate, TMZ reports.

According to the report, Marrow, 19, was playing with a handgun in his Georgia apartment June 24 when it went off and fatally shot Daryus Johnson. Marrow was hit with a slew of charges, including involuntarily manslaughter, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, reckless conduct, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of marijuana.

He currently remains in custody.

The reverse is true also. You've just made a claim, you have to prove it.

And you know what? Even if he didn't support those civil rights, I still wouldn't fault him for it. But I would be disappointing in him. I'm just a bit more forgiving than some people. It was, after all, fifty years ago. It's time to move on.

I am pointing out the rage that black people often have against white people. In some circles, that rage would be called racism.

 

There's racists and haters in all groups of people.

There may be other motivations for doing this. For example, in some African American communities rich African Americans are expected to put stuff back into he community.

So it could be a financial motivation rather than a racist motivation to calla conservative African American an Uncle Tom.

Also, they may be seen as a House nig---. which is a very powerful slur among them.

It basically means an African American who has an extreme slave mentality when he can't think for himself and adopts the white master's way of thinking word for word, such as saying things like "What's wrong with OUR house master?" and the like.

This was really opened up for me when I saw Denzel explained it in Malcom X.

No I was paraphrasing, or at least attempting to, paraphrase Denzel's lines in the movie what he used to describe what a house nig--- is when he was being interviewed on the TV show and the other guest was just insulting and berating him without actually discussing or debating him.

I have never heard Colin Powell called an Uncle Tom. That could be because he has never acted like he forgot where he came from and he has never been a step and fetch it so to speak.

Speaking of Body Count, do you not remember the lyrics to "Necessary Evil?"

He wrote a verse about pushing a little white kid into traffic and watching him get hit by a bus. And before you rationalize that as being "necessary evil" because the kid was racist to him first, reverse the colors and tell me how acceptable the lyrics would then be:

Some of that rage is fully justified. even in the modern age.
