You are perfectly welcome to move to what you consider to be a "safer" place, and leave my Constitutional Rights alone. My freedoms here in the US have enabled me to become who and what I am to a far greater extent than is availed to those who live in your "better" places.

And you are similarly welcome to move somewhere more aligned to armed religious extremism... Northern Pakistan might be to your liking.

The bulk of the US homicide stats are from gangs. Minus the gangs stats out and the US stats look a lot different. I wonder if Iceland has the gang problem that we have?

Also, I don't think Iceland has much of a gang culture. Most gun deaths in the US are, if I'm not mistaken, gang-related.

The Race-Baiting, Racebating Party of America (i.e. the Democratic party) can't address that elephant in the room, so the inanimate, unthinking guns continue to get the blame instead.

Only in your imagination, I'd say.

Poverty does not cause people to murder each other except in some extreme cases where someone is starving to death.
Why didn't the Okies who fled the Dust Bowl in the Great Depression become murderous gangsters like the Crips, Bloods and M-13 in California?
And why do so many rich athletes and Rap Stars who come from poverty still commit all kinds of murders and crimes after they have all their money?

    Believe what you want.

Why isn't Iceland a ****hole? The place has almost no resources and most of it is a barren wasteland.

Are there more gangs in red states than blue states?
Whereas most firearm violence occurs in cities, most firearm violence per capita occurs in red states... That only makes sense if Louisiana has more gangs than New York.

You're just out and out goofy. I claim no religion, and I'm far from extremist. It appears to me that you already live in a place and in a life where you experience very little freedom, and therefore place very little value on it.
There is some worthwhile discussion going on here about why Iceland has so little crime, and why there is more crime of all kinds in places with a wider demographic, lower education and lower average income among those who are committing the crimes.
You try way too hard to demean and derail any discussion that you can. You have serious social issues that need to be addressed by professionals.

    Let me get this straight...
If you say words to the effect of "Leave if you don't love it", you're making sense. But is someone else says it to you, they must have issues that need professional attention.

Examples of bulverism coupled with hypocrisy are rare indeed, especially ones so transparent in their childish expression of spite.
Congrats on setting a new standard for overall crappiness.

News for you: you're not the only vet on here, "funny boy", and I'm every bit as much an American vet as you are.

You're willingness to assume that anyone who disagrees with you is somehow less American is clear evidence of extremism.

The only extremism I've seen on this thread is from you.
