That would be genocide. And even then, some will probably survive, and radicals will be created outside of Gaza in reaction and create more enemies for Israel.

And even the west may turn against Israel if it deliberately kills all Gazans. And given how dependent Israel is on the west, it may then mean the end of Israel.

 

He didn't say that from what I have seen.
He did say that Gazans wouldn't become more radical if they are all dead. He didn't say Israel should do that. Not in anything I have read anyway.

Why do you simply assume that all civilians are "defenseless" though?

 

The population of Gaza has increased every year for the past 74 years. Why would Israel start now? The only ethnic cleansing took place in 2005 when Israel forced all the Jews out of Gaza.

A non governmental conference of 1000 is meaningless.

 

Because people should be considered innocent until shown to be guilty. That's kind of how justice works... Presuming people guilty isn't.

 

It has been suggested numerous times by Netanyahu. He tries to arrange "voluntary relocation" while making the region inhospitable to life, and the relocation not so voluntary. That's textbook ethnic cleansing.

The way to rebuff that accusation would be to declare very clearly that Gazans who leave will be invited back and that Jews who move in and settle will be punished and removed. Note how Netanyahu hasn't and won't say that, even as some US politicians pretend he has.

It is striking how different the statements made by Nettenyahu and his regime are from what US politicians tell Americans Israel will do.

Would it be a big deal about killing a few thousand Israelis? How about a few thousand Americans? How about killing you and your family? Would that be no big deal?

He is trying to find a way to get them out, by bombing them and finding a place they can go to so they can not die, while not promising they can return, and not telling would be Jewish settlers not to take the land.

I would say that is evidence both against genocide and for ethnic cleansing.

That is evidence of nothing.

All deaths are tragic. Especially those of children recruited by Hamas to serve as human shields and suicide bombers. Hamas could end the killing tomorrow. Hamas is the organization which is committed to genocide which is ethnic cleansing in the worst possible sense.

So, that makes you completely unable to empathize with anyone? You don't care if your 1,300 person town was wiped out? Would you have cared if your family was all brutally murdered when they were alive? Is it simply that you view Palestinian life as less valuable than Israeli life?
