We already know what a Biden Presidency will look like - it will be Obama 2.0. Not great years, but slow and steady years of recovery - and that’s OK.

We had 12% average growth in the stock market, unemployment slowly dropped to under 5%, housing prices slowly climbed and inflation was kept in check. I’ll take that anytime. Slow and steady works for me.

No, not the kind of jobs I am talking about. The repairing of the
infrastructure is something that MUST BE DONE at some point.

The military is something that, given this present world condition,
MUST BE MAINTAINED -- none of this is creating jobs in the
way that I mean , , here is an example of what I mean when i
say "create jobs"

John Smith , , ,
John Smith has a dream to build a factory from scratch. He has
nothing but the desire and the ability. But he is not 100% certain
he has the ability but he is willing to take the risk. So he starts
in his basement making computers and he sells them where ever
he can.

Years pass and he is not making significant economic progress
but he will not quit and keeps working until now he has improved
his computers and is selling more and more of them.

He decides to move out of his basement and into an abandoned
store and he hires 2 other people to help him. He now has 2
employees.

Sales are steady.

In 6 months he hires 2 more people. He now has 4 employees
-- and has created 4 permanent jobs.

Time passes. In 10 years he has built a new factory and is now
employing 1500 people and his computer business is growing
rapidly.

My point?

My point is that Big Government can NOT do what John Smith did.

Big Government can NOT create jobs like john Smith did.

All Big Government can do is to regulate-to-death people like
John Smith and tax him into ruin.

Your Biden/Harris will be out to make it as difficult as possible
for people like John Smith to actually launch a new business
that creates jobs.

Why would they want to do that?

If Biden wins I fully expect protests in DC and and a hard swing back to the right in 2022. Essentially the same we saw with Obama. One thing I am optimistic on here is a bipartisan HC plan to replace the failed ACA, and a stimulus package. Anything the left expects to do better happen before 2022, because after that it will be the phone and pen. Smoke and mirror COVID measures put in place at the federal level will be all but ignored by red states and somehow the numbers will remain constant regardless of red and blue as the virus runs its course or we get a working vaccine. 2024 will be a land slide for anyone the GOP runs for POTUS.

If Trump wins, all bets are off for the first couple months. Nearly every big city in the USA will experience riots and lawlessness, but after a month or two this will all be over. We will have two years of obstruction and orange man bad from the left and an extreme push to the alt left in the democratic party. When the vaccine of COVID 19 is released or the virus runs its natural course, the economy will come back strong and even the liberal strongholds will have to open back up ending much of the unrest we are seeing. I am not sure the left and Pelosi will be able to keep the mob whipped into a frenzy well enough to hold the house in 2022 though. I expect by then the moderates in the dem party will have had about all they want of "everyone's a racist" and the "win at all costs" tactics, and voter turnout for the left in 22 will be very low. Meanwhile the right will be able to promote a booming economy and the end of COVID. 2022 will be close, but the left will probably lose the house and 2024 could possibly see the first woman president in Nikki Haley.

 

Govt can absolutely do that, a job is a job.

 

That system would last about 5 seconds. After that, the rich business owners would realize they'd either need to repatriate the poor people back into their new country, or make some new ones. Who else is going to work for a pittance so that the owners can pocket more and more profit? Certainly not the other capitalists well-off folks.

Meanwhile, racism would still exist as it always has, some if systemic like it's always been. There will be no "taking it with them" unless of course you're talking about segregating these new countries by race too.

Hillary made millions on OKing the sale of US nuclear materials to Russia when she was Secretary of State.
