If Big Tech Can Censor Me, Think What It Can Do to You

....Even worse than the censorship itself is the fact that it takes public outrage just to get Big Tech to treat conservative voices fairly. When social media censorship comes after someone like me, a prominent businessman and the son the president of the United States, it’s a story. The same is not true for the millions of conservative Americans who have no recourse whatsoever when Twitter or Facebook bans their accounts, limits their reach, and otherwise silences their voices because of their political opinions. It is they who are hurt the most by Big Tech’s manipulative partisan agenda.

It goes on to talk of those who couldn’t like or follow him because of Instagram. He then talked of how conservative media has exposed the msm but now social media and others are countering that with changes in their TOS to ban conservatives or their sources. He mentioned how they have messed with an RNC spokes person and a GOP congressional candidate. The techies say it was a mistake all the time and yet these mistakes only happen to conservatives.

 

It is time for conservatives to wake up and rise up to resist internet censorship and to publicly shame those who continue to do so as the author, Donald Trump Jr. suggests.

 

The thing is that, AFAIK, the big social media platforms are still, in the final analysis, net sites. They have huge capacities and a plethora of features but they remain private net sites. Facebook is, basically, Zuckerberg's blog.

And people have the right to ban politics they really disagree with on their private site. Would you want to be compelled to carry communist propaganda on yours?

Easy fix to this censorship problem :

1) All service providers are legally forbidden from discriminating based on personal views. This includes ISP's, registrars, hosting companies, finance companies, etc. This is the basic idea that an ice cream company should sell ice cream to anyone who asks for it. This would not include social networks, as they don't directly sell specific goods or services.

2) Expose all the globalist companies and boycott them.

3) Make alternatives, there is a huge market for this. This is of course only possible if 1) is guaranteed by law, otherwise their domain name or server might get shut down, as has been done already, which should be illegal.

 

Embracing an ideology that's never worked anywhere ever, socialists have to silence viewpoints they don't share and unleash attacks against those who disagree with them. History is littered with examples of failure of socialism despite the censorship and propaganda that come along with it. The failed Soviet Union excelled at those methods. They just couldn't get socialism to work, even after imposing brutal authoritarian rule.

A handful of radicals wrote bots to attack Rush Limbaugh's sponsors in an effort to silence him. He found out who they were, published their names and presented them to his sponsors.

Radical socialists have lowered discourse to ad hominem attacks on sponsors to silence critics. They are working overtime to silence Tucker.

2. There was a religious factor at play there which does not exist when it comes to social media, and there are millions of cake businesses while social media is one huge liberal monopoly right now. Again, I am not condoning their actions but the situations are incomparable, the owners' actions should be compared to the Muslim employees of supermarkets refusing to process pork, the Social Media censoring policies are more akin to the methods of fascist/communist totalitarian dictatorships and "No Blacks Allowed" supremacists-owned businesses of the past.

 

But social media wasn't telling conservatives they couldn't join Facebook (the restaurant) - they were just kicking them out when they spit on the cook.
