    Yes, if he had had one of those dumb "Smartphones" he would have spent all day gibbering rubbish on the phone - he would not have wasted his time with painting pictures!

    I don't believe one can possibly support the notion that the internet has squelched creativity.

    In fact, the internet was created to allow tech creativity and engineering to move faster, as ideas are shared and people across the world can work together.

    I think it is a double edged sword, lol. It's kind of like nuclear fission. We can use it to harness massive amounts of energy that can be a huge boon to the world... or we can destroy the world with it. I guess that is what it does for human creativity and productivity. It can increase it exponentially, or turn us into near vegetables flipping through stupid tiktok videos all day.

    Amen. I don't see a solution outside of improving and extending education.
