I feel that all non-white immigrants (as in, minorities) who immigrated to the West are saying with their action that the West is superior to their homeland/s. That is the only reason. They say that they want to be able to pursue money, happiness, and to live a good, prosperous life, but apparently they couldn't achieve these things in their homelands, and this is why they came here. All non-White immigrants currently living in the West are showing with their action that they are a failed people who were unable to build stable, prosperous nations where they came from. I mean, why else would they be here in the West. And just to clarify, I am one of these failed people. I am an Asian immigrant and I currently live in Canada. Canada is so much better than my home country and I don't ever want to go back. However, I also recognize that we ruined our home country, turned it into a sh*t-hole, with un-breathable air, un-potable water, rampant pollution, unbridled crime, and this is why me and my family fled. Not only did we screw up our country, we didn't even stay there and try to fix things. We are failed people indeed. What do you guys think?
The truth is probably a bit less harsh than that. There are many in the West equally intrigued by the things the East has to offer. IMO the various cultures complement each other, where they are able to relate positively without each trying to dominate the other. Right now, though, unless you are a person of great wealth, the West is probably the most comfortable place for the average person to live. Unfortunately, our financial elite has been mercilessly chipping away at this.
